Maid-Rite — Restaurant in Waterloo

The cheese rites are very good, but the corn dog was not crispy. It still tasted pretty good, it just seemed like it might have sat around for a bit. They might have been short staffed like most places these days. The onion rings were excellent.

The staff that were there were all really nice and cheerful though.

If I could have a wish for this place, I would wish it had real draft root beer like the one in Muscatine has. That would put it over the top.

The young man working there was very friendly, he was diffently keeping busy, he was filling the ice at the pop area. He was moping the floor, going in the bathrooms and cleaning. He was such a good worker, there was another person coming, but that young man washed his hands and helped out wherever he was needed. I didn't get his name, but we need more people in the work force like him. Great...

Great place. Food is always too notch…maid rites are not greasy and they have a variety of food for others who are not into miseries.
