Dub's Pub — Restaurant in Waterloo

A very unwelcoming atmosphere if you're ethnic at all. The bartender was rude and had no cordial manners. She spent her time yapping with a group of men at the end of the bar and only came around when directly called for. The guests were racist and made the whole place feel like if you don't drink domestic beer and/or you are ethnic you're an outcast. They made racial remarks due to my beer selection and due to my appearance. The gentleman I was with and I had to leave quickly because the vibe felt like the whole bar wanted to jump us. Will absolutely never recommend this...

Even though the name said ‘Don’t Bother’ we went anyway. Dad’s had a nice comfortable vibe walking in. Tallboy and shot was 8$ which is reasonable for this part of town. But it’s hard to enjoy yourself with ignorant chit chit so loud I figure they have no one to talk to at home. It did have that musty beer fart smell so many of these folks may have still been drunk from yesterday. I guess to me it had the feel of a Wisconsin bar without the snowmobiles or atvs but still had the people. We’ll be back but maybe on a better smelling...

Ive been going there for years before it was Dads Pub a I so glad they brought nee life to a really nice old bar. Pool, darts, ample tables and chairs, current jukebox, attached outside patio, clean bathrooms, the staff is great, after ordering my first beer, I never had to return to the bar for another, they were ontop of it making sure i had a drink in my hand. The crowd truely ranges from young, to old and ill definately be coming back, the wife...
