Today after church went to LJs neighborhood bar and grill. First of all, the waitress heard nothing about the order that was said. Like no fries brought anyway then charged us for the hem stating that it would be the same no matter fries or not. Hello, not the point. The point being I did not want them. I ordered BLT with cheese and no cheese . There was no tomato. They had no cream for coffee and coffee came not hot. When asked a few times finally got spoon to stir coffee. Was charged for things I did not want my sandwich was very bad. I don't know what kind of man is they use they need to get a different kind it is very nasty. I I would suggest if you go there to please try the mayonnaise first before you put it is very bad. Here is the receipt, The waitress then proceeded to meet a colleague which I believe was maybe the floor manager up by where that food comes up and proceeded to talk about me because I did not like her putting the fries on there. The coffee cold. I chalk this experience that we had on the waitress, I have never had a worse waitress. Very unattached to her Job at hand and only willing to do nothing or go extra step that meal was satisfying. Although the gentleman I was with had a Ruben sandwich and fries that was very good he said. But again the staff was not. Very bad...
Read moreAfter we finished harvesting our farm ground we went to LJ’s to celebrate. We ordered two margaritas for starters. First drink we tried and we looked at each other and said ugh. They were terrible tasting. I ordered a sandwich basket with fries and my husband ordered wings. I took my first bite out of my sandwich and noticed that the bacon that was on it seemed raw. I spit out my bite and opened up my sandwich. Sure enough, the bacon was 100% raw! Our waitress came by and noticed that I was looking at my sandwich. I told her that the bacon was 100% raw and I showed her. She said that’s disgusting and said, yup, you’re right! She took the bacon that I had out of my sandwich and showed the cook manager. They took the price of the sandwich off our bill and offered me a replacement. Of course I didn’t except it. I won’t eat there again. My husband’s chicken wings were very soft and gooey. We brought those home to cook them more. It cost around 30.00 dollars for a totally gross dinner plus a 5.00 tip. We’ll probably throw away the chicken wings. LJ’s used to be our favorite restaurant but we won’t be back. If you do, please take a look at the people that are cooking your food. That was...

I came in for lunch with a friend after he insisted that they had Bluegill fillers and that they were fantastic!
Well, I was kinda skeptical about this as this really isn't an offering anyone in the area would normally have, so I ordered a few things that caught my eye.
I was able to sample their homemade Poblano Cream soup and the chili. Both were fantastic! While it wasn't spicy or super-flavorful like Wendy's, it was nevertheless good!
I also ordered their Bluegill Fillet basket. Man! These were fried "half-shell" or skin on, but don't worry as the breading is a fine Mississippi style cornmeal covering and those skins can easily be removed if you can't find them great!
I heard the fish come from a local farm pond, but I'm uncertain.
The French fries have like a corn dog flavor batter on them and you're probably going to need to go hungry unless you wanna get bloated eating them all, as they are just that addicting.
Overall, good place for a few beers and a game over a meal...
