Came to the drive through right before lunch( thought no big deal the line is backed up a few, it will be about 11:00 by the time I get to the speaker) Had to wait in line for 10 minutes before even able to put my order in at the speaker. Line was totally backed up. When I went to put my lunch order in at 10:56 with NO ONE EVEN BEHIND ME, the GM refused to serve me lunch saying the food was not prepared yet. So how long does it even take to prepare the food then? Can’t be too long just take my order and by the time I’m even able to get to the first window it will be well past 11:00. So still denied me, would not give me a break after sitting in line for 10 minutes. Had to pull off to the side for 4 minutes and then get back in line(at this time not a single car has even pulled up since I got out of line, but the line is still backed up some).
So I FINALLY am able to make my lunch order, first one at the split lane speakers. And I sit there, and sit there and sit there for about 5 minutes. Someone in the lane next to me pulls up and they get served!!!!! Im about to lose my mind at this point. Then the next car pulls up and they get told to hold on a second. I’m thinking “this is finally my time” and the lady comes on the speaker and TELLS ME TO HOLD ON A MINUTE…. Then proceed to go back to the other lane and take their order!!! So now I have 2 cars that WERE 2nd and 3rd to pull up from me initially being there that are now in front of me! I confronted the lady at the window and she denied the whole thing and said “we’re doing the best we can do”

Read moreI haven’t been to the Waterloo McDonald’s in some time. I came today to get a Big Mac and a Medium fry. I have a super saver card for a free medium fry with the purchase of a Big Mac. When I got to the window to have them mark the card and pay the cashier seemed very confused at what he was looking at. He then went to get the manager to see what the super saver was. The manager himself didn’t even know. He even told me that you don’t accept them (which is not true). I sat there for a good 5-10 minutes at the first window. They finally promo’d the fry off and handed me back my card. I pull to the next window and the elderly woman at the second window is bent over face deep in her phone. I sat there for another couple minutes staring at her before she realized I was sitting there. My food right in the window getting cold this while time. I asked for a fresh fry and she walked away and proceeded to yell “oh my god!!!” And comes straight back. I took the food and got home to see that the Big Mac that I asked for with extra pickles has two pickles on it which is the standard for a Big Mac, I know this because I worked for McDonald’s for 17 years. 10 of those years were spent at this Waterloo location. I just want to say that the staff needs to be better trained. The woman at the second window should be positioned at the counter. Hoping next time my visit is much better and I will adjust...

And McDonald’s is supposed to be the place where you can get good breakfast well, not this McDonald’s I go there this morning. The line is not long at all so I go ahead and go through. I get my biscuits I get to work and whenever I finally get to sit down and eat my biscuits, they are hard as rocks.. No exaggeration on the rock I tapped the biscuit on my desk and it quite literally sounded like a rock.. this isn’t the first time this has happened to me. I had a sausage McMuffin the week before and the McMuffin was hard, but I just ignored it because the McMuffin on the top was fine.. The cheese looked disgusting. It looked like it had been just sitting out in both of my sausages. Biscuits were gross. I couldn’t even bite into them. They smelt disgusting. I’m at work and I can’t leave work so I tried to call them and you can’t ever get a hold of anybody at that McDonald’s the customer service is trash and now I have to have my coworker relieve me so that I didn’t just waste my money and not get to eat my breakfast.. This McDonald’s either needs to be under new management and new workers or it just needs to be shut down completely because It’s never hit or miss with this McDonald’s. It’s just...
