D & D Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Watertown

After returning home with my order, I opened the bag with my fries, and they were all burnt - every single fry was dark brown, overly crispy, and overcooked. But, surprisingly, the hamburger I also ordered was okay.

FYI - Never ask a person of color if their hair is natural (real) or not. It's very off-putting and rude!

Whoever he was (might have been the owner) had the nerve to ask me if my dreadlocks were real - suggesting my hair was fake. After I politely confirmed my hair was mine, he gave me a look and sound of approval. Then, he shared that he was impressed and shocked my hair was real.

I'm sure their food is nice... If they actually sent our order. We ordered at 9pm and they close at 9:30. We waited and waited and never received any notice that we'd never get it. They didn't even answer their phones either. Didn't mind charging our credit card though! Now I have to either call them tomorrow for a refund or call my bank to report it as a fraudulent charge. Ridiculous.

Edit: So the owner called us the next morning and apologized. He personally came over to refund us and offered us a free pizza next time. That's good customer service right there. I adjusted my rating...

The quest is finally finished. I have found the most delicious pizza place around. I move to the area two years ago and was in desperate need of a go to place for pizza and subs. I tried countless local places. I am sad to admit it has taken nearly two years but after ordering from this place roughly 4+ times now trying many different items on the menu I can attest to this being the best pizza shop. I highly recommend their pizzas, subs, fries, salads, and calzones. Their food is consistent in its quality. They use fresh ingredients and really go the extra mile. Can’t wait to...
