Aroma Joe's Coffee #20 — Restaurant in Waterville

I love Aroma Joes, so much that I buy my rush's by the case. But when I go to this particular location....

1. I always go inside because the drive through line is miserably slow. If you've been inside you know the drive through is so slow because 9 times out of 10, the kids working the window are goofing off.

2. I only order my case of rush's and a bottle of syrup because the counters in the store are filthy. I do not want my food prepared in a place that doesn't even clean their counters. I can't even set my high end purses on the counter to get my wallet out because they're covered with stickiness.

3. It's a bunch of kids working there, and they aren't mature kids either. They're goofing off a lot of the time. I've stood in line while they have personal conversations with each other and neglect paying customers too many times.

4. For these reasons, if I'm going to pass another AJ's on my way through - I always stop there instead of Waterville.

I've been to many Aroma Joes, all over New England and although they also have kids behind the counter, I don't see them neglecting their customers to talk about their boyfriends or how wasted they got the night before. I also see clean work areas and pay areas. Most importantly, they've also ALL been clean. Maybe a ring or two on the counter from the sticky rush's made for the customer before me, but clean enough that you can find a place to set your purse down to get your wallet out or feel comfortable with your food being prepared on the counters behind the register. This place is a bought of food poisoning...

I love Aroma Joes. This morning was so frustrating. I order a coffee and bagel w/ cream cheese. I'm given a bagel. A plastic knife and the smallest packet of cream cheese... now I don't live next door. I have to drive 30 minutes when I leave here. I wasn't able to eat the bagel on the road. When I got to my destination it was cold and not enough cream cheese to even try.

I feel robbed. What a waste of money. I've always got coffee here, today was the first time trying food. I will not do food from this business again. Just lazy by the staff.. I pay for a product and a service. I don't go to a restaurant, order a burger and get brought out everything separately to put together myself....

Why would I pay for a bagel if yall are going to make me make it myself? Very very very...

ok this is my first time coming to this location and here’s how it went: i immediately go inside and notice the workers just goofing off with their friend who’s a customer, i order my rush (blackberry pomegranate), and i get my drink and it tastes nothing like what i usually get. I sat down at the tables and the worker continued to fool around with her friend who was a customer sitting there, and that friend proceeded to pull her pants down in the middle of the restaurant and said it was ok bc she had shorts on and the worker laughed at it. Not only are they immature, but they didn’t know who’s order was who’s half the time and would trash talk the people in the drive through. horrible experience and i will continue only going to the one...
