We ate here earlier today, and brought my grandmother who does not get to leave the house often. Seeing the reviews are high I thought wow! This place will be amazing! I was mistaken. First - I'll say the waitress was amazing! But the drinks are far better than the food. We order calamari almost everywhere we go that has it, this was by far the WORST calamari we've had, ever. It was so rubbery that my toddler couldn't even bite through it, when brought to the waitress's attention she said "we are required to cook it for a certain amount of time" I don't think she knows my Fiance was a chef at one point- calamari takes 40 seconds max and that's what the warning at the bottom of the menu about seafood, chicken, and eggs is for. She took the calamari back to the kitchen and took it off our bill. We also got some cheesy bacon fries- which were alright, the cheese only covered the top layer and the rest was bare. I had the teriyaki steak tips with coleslaw and French onion soup, the steak tips were alright but the waitress didn't ask me how I'd like them cooked. A bit tough for my taste. The coleslaw was a salad with no flavor. The French onion soup also had no flavor besides onion and beef broth, the bread squares should be tossed in garlic and olive oil, but sadly were not, I'm a french onion soup connoisseur and i was thoroughly disappointed as it said made in-house. My grandmother had the haddock sandwich and onion rings (which were good), the bread (ciabatta bread) was too hard she couldn't even bite it, and the haddock was also dry. My toddler had the mac and cheese, which was subpar, and kind of dry. My 11 y/o had a burger and fries- the burger was dry and tasted like a frozen patty. My fiance had the Rueben, which he said was good. My mother had the teriyaki steak bomb, she said it was WAY too sweet and the steak was so tough she could barely chew it. We told the waitress all of the complaints,...

Went in here for lunch today with my wife and granddaughter. Not so good. My wife ordered calamari from the pretty limited menu, it came and was a terribly small order that was over breaded and way over cooked, was literally like eating rubber. Was also served with cocktail sauce , which I found odd and certainly wasn’t good. I ordered the onion soup, the soup wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t hot and although tasty and well made, not very appetizing. I also ordered the bbq chicken grilled pizza, I did not eat it as the chicken was really dry, the cheese was just glopped on very heavily, and even though it was a grilled pizza which which I am familiar with grilled pizzas this one had a burnt taste, a very burnt taste. It wasn’t burnt but had that flavor, have a feeling that it was something on the grill or previously on the grill that made the pizza taste so off. When I finally got the waitresses attention, and I was her only table I told her I couldn’t eat it and wanted to order something else. Now a couple things here, and I want to say the waitress was very nice and friendly but was at the bar during our visit and was hard to get her attention. Again she was very nice and very friendly. I ordered a bacon cheese burger, she took the new order, but did not offer to rectify in any way the bad pizza experience I had. I paid for the pizza. I asked for onion rings instead of fries and when the burger came the plate had like 5-6 onion rings on it. I thought this to be a very small amount and considering I paid an extra charge for them I was a bit disappointed. The burger itself had a hard ciabatta roll instead of a burger roll which I found to be hard to chew and a bit stale, it was to much bread for the burger. Having said that the burger itself was very good indeed, was cooked medium like I asked and had a good flavor and was juicy. I will likely look for another place to eat when in...

We tried eating here on a Sunday afternoon and right from the start the experience wasn’t good. When you walk in there’s a sign “please wait to be seated” so we waited……. No one came and seated us and the wait area was cold and far removed from the restaurant, so we chose to seat ourselves after 10 minutes. The restaurant was half empty and we sat at a table and waited…. I know they saw us come in, saw us at the table, yet no one bothered to approach us and welcome us in. It felt awkward and the floor was dirty and the atmosphere felt strange. Needless to say we left. It gets one star based off this alone. I unfortunately cannot review the food but I won’t go back since the service clearly is lacking. The whole wait time was about 15 minutes for nothing.

I’m adding an update because the owner reached out to me through this review and offered a gift card if I was willing to email him and give it another try…. I sent what I thought was a nice message back to him and said I’d be happy to accept his gift and try again. Unfortunately, after a week there’s been no response and no gift card, which seems on par with the experience I have already described. A serious lack of urgency towards customers willing to pay for a meal. I’m not sure I’d be willing to try this place again based off these experiences. Service really is everything when it comes to restaurants in my opinion, and this place has shown that service...

I had last visited in 1980. Our cousin's weekend reunion party of thirteen arrived at 6:30 PM. Food arrived up until 8:25 PM. Silverware arrived at 8:39 PM. We had no water glasses for much of the meal due to waiting on the dishwasher. Every one of our alcoholic beverages had very little alcohol. Our waitress appeared totally overwhelmed. The manager never bothered to come to our table to gauge the problems. Two of us learned late that the kitchen was out of the entrees we ordered. Only two of the entrees were very good; my Cesar Salad was bland, & for $7 extra the cook tossed three shrimp on top. Two elderly couples @ two tables nearby had to go to the bar to pay because they simply could not get their checks. Our side of the dining room was laughing together because the experience felt almost surreal. We thirteen agreed that it was the WORST dining experience each of us has ever had! (Dear Mr. Manager: If you have a limited crew, DO NOT fill all your tables. If you have an inexperienced wait staff, help him/her out. If you are out of entrees, don't offer them. If you know your customers' experience has been negative, walk over to APOLOGIZE. Smh.)

Fantastic, was not expecting anything out of the ordinary, but, dang, service was WAY above par thanks to the delightful woman whose name I forget!! A traveling nursing student? Anyway, so engaging, was on top of everything, and even busy, found time to chat. Awesome. Had the Crab Benedict , which was incredible, slight amount of Cajun seasoning, but not over powering. Great hollandaise, everything fresh and homemade- I asked for light on the home fries and and got exactly that. Bloody Mary's were off the chart and the manager was gracious and appreciative. What a great experience.
