You can access the Two Cent Bridge from this park! Ample parking. Benches and picnic tables. Also an interesting monument and beautiful birch tree commemorating Waterville's friendship with its "sister city" Kotlas, Russia! This wonderful tree and the stone, with details about sister city Kotlas in Russia, is right where you access the Two Cent Bridge with all the " love locks" which seems kind of fitting! Bridges that join sides of the river, people, and cities in seperate countries!

Sooooo, why did I only give 4 stars. Well, there were definitely people there clearly for a walk, jog, dog walk, evening/dinner picnic.....but there seemed to be another element flitting around soliciting. I'll leave it at that. If you are with some other people I'd say you'd be fine, but alone ...um, eh, it may draw some attention and...
