Sushi Garden Watsonville — Restaurant in Watsonville

This by far was the worst experience i have ever encountered at a restaurant. So today being Valentine's day i decided to treat my sweetie to a wonderful dinner and this is what happend. I tried calling sushi garden to place an order but the phone just rang and rang with no-one answering. So i decided to place my order online and the order was accepted and confirmed and charged. So i drove over 30 min to get to the restaurant. The window for pick up given to us was online the order would be ready by 7:30pm. We arrived ontime and asked the gentelman working and was told to wait outside and our name would be called when ready. We waited 30min outside in the freezing cold and once again asked about our order and then was told then ran out of rice and could not fulfill our order and a refund would be given. However with the chaotic and unprofessional staff we did not trust a refund would be given as my order was over 100.00. So the staff finally called the back office and a refund was given. So by the time we were done with this whole ordeal all other resturaunts were closed and needles to say the only thing open was fast food. I honestly don't know why this place has 4 stars, usually Google reviews are spot on. I'd like to say that this isn't my first time trying this place. Its been about two years since my last visit, despite that I'd say the service and food are the same. Everything on the menu was an 86 item no uni, no quail, no oysters, no inaki. No they dont make garlic edamame. Everything was a no despite the hand written daily specials they have advertised on their specials board. The response was we dont have a shipment (sounds like poor management to me) The server was rude and acted like she didn't want to be there. Went for lunch about a week ago. As soon as I walked in the host girl rudely asked what I wanted. Told me to sit in any small table. After 10 min of sitting and servers walking past me I was finally asked if I wanted something to drink. I placed my order and after a while it came out. Great food but horrible staff. While I was eating a lady came in about 30 min before closing time to place a to go order. The host again told her well we’re about to close your super close to closing time and the lady kept apologizing. Her food was ready within 10 min of placing it. It was about 2: 17 when my Server kept pacing back and forth hurrying me to finish and pay and brought my check without me asking. I knew the closing time and was well aware that I needed to be out of there fast to Return to work but the whole experience was horrible. Never again am I dinning in....
