Our experience was absolutely ridiculous! We began trying to order but the girl at the counter was barely listening and then tried to complete our order before we're done ordering, then gave the last of the sesame chicken I ordered to the person behind me, put our 3 plates off next to the register getting cold for about 10 minutes then when the other girl picked it up as we were paying then decided to put it under the glass. After we paid, we continued to wait another 30 minutes for the sesame chicken. In that time they were serving the chicken to people behind us. When I asked for a refund because I was tired of waiting about 45 minutes to get my order and eat my dinner. The gal offered me store credit because "they don't do refunds". Then one of the other girls took my order back out of the case again putting out to get cold, then the chicken was done for the 3rd time, I assumed I'd finally get my order then again the chicken was going to others then I asked to have my order redone because this is the 2nd time it's been pulled from the heat and if it wasn't getting cold it was most likely getting gross, they told me they'd do it. Which was a lie because again they were running out of everything we ordered and asked if we wanted something else or we'd be made to wait another 30 minutes for everything to be completed by that time it would have been over a hour and a half by the time we'd actually eat. Which was not happening I told my husband I was over it to get a refund and I walked out as soon as I walked out then they told him our order was complete for the 10th time because the first 9 times they said our order was complete except for the chicken again and then we were missing the shrimp. Then to top it off the small carton of shrimp on my husband's bigger plate was all vegetables and 1 shrimp. And when I finally received my double sesame chicken there wasn't even enough to fill the 2 sides and my chow mein was cold. Needless to say we waited almost a hour to get our order it was no way as full as all the other orders before and after ours, the food was mostly vegetables and cold. I wanted to take the time and let you know that I went back to the same Panda express this evening to give it another try.
The watsonville 152 store that we've been chatting about in this email thread.
It was 9:25pm and we walked in and there was no food left and it closes at 10:00pm. I asked them if they were going to make more food.
They replied that they don't want to waste food but they reluctantly made chow mein and orange chicken. These are not the items that we wanted to order but we ordered them anyway.
We waited for a long time while the food was already made and they were cleaning the glass Shields in front of us and it felt rude.
I gently asked if this is the way they run the store at 9:30 p.m. and they said we don't like to waste food once again.
We ordered four entrees and then she gave us the receipt and had only charged us for three. I brought it to her attention and then we were charged for a separate entree because they weren't listening.
We waited for a very long time and finally we got our meal and they didn't put the last entree in and insisted that we need a receipt within 5 minutes of taking our order.
We don't understand why they don't want to listen at the store. My theory is that they wanted to leave work early and they did not want to deal with us.
I rarely complain about any service and I did not post a bad review online about this experience because I understand how that feels being self-employed.
I have no idea what is going on at that store but I believe that the manager needs to bring new leadership on...

Returned home notices one item missing, called the gentleman on the phone remembered the order took note to make sure it was ready or available when we came back, one star. I sent my daughter over to pick up since she was closer. Issue: the store manager Emily B? accused us of trying to get a free food item. She then would not release the food item without additional payment. She never asked any of the employees if they had already taken the order, or if the customer waa due something...mean while a guy went ahead and prepped the missing items for my daughter to bring home. So what should and would have been a very pleasant online experience worth 5 stars, ended poorly because Emily didn't have the insight to treat a returning customer with basic customer assistance -3 stars.
