...ugh, ok, I used to really like this place! I would go like, once a week usually. But...on my last visit, not only did the cashier get my order wrong, which would have been fine except for one little detail: I ended up having to pay MORE due to him getting my order wrong. I literally was too tired that day to say anything about that so I ate part of my order and left it at that. This on its own wouldn't be a problem... but it's just that the food was not good...at all. I haven't eaten roasted chicken since that day! While our meal ended up being pretty good, the restaurant appeared to be in chaos. Long lines to order because the cashier kept disappearing to help elsewhere, and a long wait after ordering. That seemed to all be a result of it being a busy lunch. So, understood. The part that really bugged me was just how filthy the place was. The floor was sticky, and even the walls had grubby fingerprints and old stuck-on food. Not the result of just a busy lunch rush but a longer period of inattention. Totally gross. The guy who takes orders speaks very fast and in Spanish. I have nothing against Spanish but I do not speak it. He spoke sometimes with an accent and sometimes without. He was very hard to understand. All I wanted was 3 pieces of chicken for my dogs and 2 tacos. They gave me 6 pieces of chicken, which I threw out 3 and charged me for the 2 sides instead of charging it as a meal. Charged everything separately.i was WAY OVERCHARGED for my order, $28.

Be very careful, they see you coming. I've never eaten at an El Pollo and WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!! Food was dry. Way overcharged me......
