If I could give this place 0 starts i definitely would. I had pulled into the drive thru around 9:00pm. The guy taking my order was very unprofessional and not happy. He gave me attitude & just seemed like he did not care. (must’ve had a bad day). I get we all have bad days but do not take it out on the customers. You work in customer service/fast food. You should know better. You signed up for the job 😹 Anyways, i let it slide & kept ordering as he kept giving me attitude. I then pulled up to the window to proceed to pay. He then gave me attitude because apple pay wasn’t working so i proceeded to try again. It all worked out in the end. He gave me my drinks and then couple minutes later the food came out. He didn’t ask me if i wanted a receipt or any sauces etc. Now knowing when going to taco bell or any fast food place or any customer service place they always ask if you want a receipt & they always ask if u need any sauces. Was never Asked. Now, thats part of ur job is to ask the customers if they need any of those things. Anyways, thats besides the point. I then left unhappy because i wasn’t treated like a human. I then called the waukee taco bell and asked if there was a manager on site and he proceeded to cut me off before i could finish my sentence and said “I am the manager” (with an attitude). I then proceeded to explain my issue with his employee that was taking orders at the drive thru. Cuts me off again and says “well i don’t take complaints over the phone, you are gonna have to do that online.” Okay so then i proceeded to give him the same attitude back because not one person has been nice about the situation. He then said “Okay we’ll have a good night” & HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. now i’ve worked in customer service before & I know one thing is you don’t hang up the phone on customers even if you don’t know how to handle a situation. I’m not sure who it was but he claimed to be the manager on duty at the time i called. I would not recommend this place for the customer service at all. I am very disappointed and yes i did contact corporate. 😁 now have a good day richard(the cashier)& whoever ur manager is that doesn’t know how to act...
Read moreWorse experience at this Taco Bell. We go out of our way to go to this one over 22nd Street because it has always been better until tonight. We ordered 2 Chalupa boxes & asked when ordering for them to be in separate packaging like they are supposed to be. I dont care if it's a box or just a bag but I want to be able to hand them to the people & not dig through 1 big bag of everything going down the road. They said ok. Also ordered a few other items. They hand us a bag and say that's everything. Um what we asked for it to be 3 separate bags. The guy says you took the bag we can't do anything about it once it leaves the window. We pull around to the parking lot trying to sort it out all the burritos looked the same, we were missing food and we didn't get a receipt to try and figure out what was missing. We go around to the ordering board trying to see what's in the chalupa boxes and the guy is yelling at us to pull around as we are looking at the board we ordered off of. We get up to the window and ask him what is what and he tells us they are supposed to be wrapped with the label but they are training so he knows it wasn't done right but does nothing to help us figure out what is what, hands us a receipt and a bag with what we knew was missing food wise closed the window and walked away. Very rude and impatient, raised his voice at us and gave us attitude for something that is advertised as being in individual meal boxes and we specifically asked to be done when we ordered. Our nacho chips were in the cinnamon twists dessert so they all 3 were nasty & tossed. I still don't know other than the chalupas and quesidillas what was what and went to whom. Plus we did not get everything. We asked for a manager and were ignored. Terrible...
Read moreThe food was good, everything fine once order was "semi" corrected (?) They messed up the order in the drive-thru in so many ways that shortly after I came inside to begin to attempt to explain all of the things they needed to fix (wrong kind of taco on one of them, rang me up for 2 more tacos than I'd ordered, forgot sour cream on one, forgot the 3 chip orders!😛) I kind up gave up and said nevermind just please give me all chips for the kids you forgot! I was flustered as I had my four kids with me which apparently made the manager(?)/whoever I was talking to felt it necessary to say okay I'll get those chips for you but you need to calm down. I told her wow I just have 4 kids with me if you could just hand me the 3 chip orders that would be great, she didn't need to tell me to "calm down." I had already told her just don't worry about correcting the bill for the extra tacos they'd charged me for (because the time that would have taken with all the kids wasn't feasible or worth it) but she seriously felt the need to act like some crisis manager and tell me to calm down as if I was a crazed gunman in the store or something.😂 Highly apparent she has not tried to get a totally messed up fast food order corrected on the other side of the counter as a mom with 4 kids in tow. Here's a tip: when you see a lady with a bunch of kids seeming a little flustered as they speak to you, telling them to calm down will have the...
