To answer your most important question first: yes, with permission, you can climb the green dinosaur.
This is a new place that just opened recently by the same person as Joey's diner. We ordered the cheese curds and a 16 inch new york style pizza for 2 adults and 2 kids. The cheese curds were really well seasoned and my kids devoured them. They also were big fans of the marinara sauce which is not normally their thing.
The pizza was great. I saw another comment that said it had too much sauce and that's just blasphemy. Great amount of sauce. We did get the ham, and I was expecting it more like Canadian bacon. It was more like pepperoni. Not my personal favorite but my husband liked it. You also get a great amount of toppings on the pizza. My kids were also fighting over the crust, which normally they fight to not eat it. Really great pizza.
I think it was the owner working and he was super kind. He let the kids get on the green dinosaur and took some pictures of us.
All in all a great place. We came on a Wednesday around 5:30, and this pizza came out in about 15 min, super quick. Great service, fun place to eat. For the large pizza with one topping and curds the price was around $30. For a family of 4 I couldn't be mad at that at all. We'll be...
Read moreMy wife, I and the kids went for Pizza this afternoon and decided to try slice of Waukesha and so glad we did. The decor is absolutely Fun and has a beautiful vibe for those of us from the 80sThe food and cheese on the pizza is the best I’ve ever had and the owner has nothing but compassion and drive for this restaurant he was uplifting his staff as their new and are still working out the system and any kinks here I asked one of the employees who the man was that kept going in and out the door and I guess he owns Joey‘s diner next-door as well at that point I had to meet him I sat with Joey for a good 10 minutes and if you have not met him, you have to get there to meet him this guy. Well, let’s just say you have to meet him. He is absolutely amazing. The family took a liking to him and felt like we’ve known him for years. He made everybody feel welcome and made sure everybody was well fed. Had drinks filled at all times and even dessert at the end if you’re in Waukesha and you’re hungry and you want pizza this is a place to try. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised Joey keep up the good work. You are a real asset to the community and I wish you your partner and the staff here nothing but success and prosperity thank you !!!! me and my family...

The pizza was good but recommended thickening up the sauce or maybe giving a side cup to dip in, as the sauce was good but was hard to taste except up near the crust where they applied it a little heavier. Cheese and pepperoni was great. Soda was pretty flat. We were told the pizza would take 3 minutes but it ended up being more like 10. No big deal to us but could see someone in a hurry getting uppity about it.
For the price of two slices it makes more sense to just buy a whole pie instead. Slices are pretty small - was expecting something more like Ian’s sizes, as well as some specialty pizzas. Perhaps in the future. The only other thing I noted was that it appeared maybe they don’t have the same crust there all the time? I’m not sure if it’s because they were testing different crusts out or if they switch it up. For me it doesn’t make much of a difference but for some it might. I prefer a thicker crust but the thin crust...
