The Steaming Cup has the best food I've ever had at a coffee shop. In my experience, coffee shop food has typically been bland, so the first time I ordered food from here, I wasn't expecting much. However I instantly realized that this food was full of flavor and quality. I simply cannot believe how amazing the food is here, I can't stop ordering it. The Breakfast Sammy and the chicken caeser wrap are my favorites, and I always order a Belgian waffle too. Even the Belgian waffle comes with real maple syrup. I don't know what other coffee shops nearby are going above and beyond like that. The atmosphere is also great and I can't wait to sit and dine in-person. When I bawked at the prices, one of the staff said the quality and quantity have improved and would be well worth it. I felt the food had been good before so I couldn't imagine going wrong. I had the turkey cranberry sandwich and instead of the normal sides, I ordered the kale split pea soup. The soup was only ok and the sandwich was tasty but small. I grossly overpaid for my lunch $10+. Will not make the same mistake twice! Btw, noticed all the others there were only having coffee. One older couple did have a dessert but brought in their own cheese, apple sluces, and crackers which should tell...
