The Steaming Cup has the best food I've ever had at a coffee shop. In my experience, coffee shop food has typically been bland, so the first time I ordered food from here, I wasn't expecting much. However I instantly realized that this food was full of flavor and quality. I simply cannot believe how amazing the food is here, I can't stop ordering it. The Breakfast Sammy and the chicken caeser wrap are my favorites, and I always order a Belgian waffle too. Even the Belgian waffle comes with real maple syrup. I don't know what other coffee shops nearby are going above and beyond like that. The atmosphere is also great and I can't wait to sit and dine in-person. Haven't tried the coffee yet, but I'm sure it's equally as great. Seriously, hats off to all the staff, management, and owners of this place. It's so hard to find such quality food these days at such an...

The Steaming Cup is located in the cute quaint town of Waukesha. The area is arts and crafty and the Steaming Cup is representing the area well. Located in the historic Knickell building which was renovated but the character remains as evidenced by beautiful tin ceilings. The owners took into the account our plugged in society by offering an abundance of plugs and USB charging stations. The coffee options are simple and uncomplicated and catered to you. They have 4 different daily brews along with monthly specials. They have breakfast that includes sandwiches oatmeal waffles and toast. They have a variety of sandwiches salads and soups. Steaming Cup specialties includes honey latte, Carmella and rocket fuel. Of course they have a display case full of sweets too. The Steaming Cup is the place to visit for a...

The cafe is under new management as of only a couple months ago. I was glad to see some favorite menu items remained. The bakery looked delectable but I was there for lunch. When I bawked at the prices, one of the staff said the quality and quantity have improved and would be well worth it. I felt the food had been good before so I couldn't imagine going wrong. I had the turkey cranberry sandwich and instead of the normal sides, I ordered the kale split pea soup. The soup was only ok and the sandwich was tasty but small. I grossly overpaid for my lunch $10+. Will not make the same mistake twice! Btw, noticed all the others there were only having coffee. One older couple did have a dessert but brought in their own cheese, apple sluces, and crackers which should tell...

I have Celiac and need to eat gluten free food. I went in to talk to a really nice lady behind the counter. She explained that while they do have gluten free bread, there is no separate prep area to make the sandwiches safely and avoid cross contamination. I had the Cobb salad which had legit pieces of tomato, bacon, and avocado in it, which was great. They also had some really awesome cold brew I'm still thinking about. It's been a day and I can safely say I didn't get sick from the salad which rocks. I wish they had a safer option for the sandwiches because they sounded really good, but that's the life of a Celiac I suppose.

I’m changing my 5 star to a 4 star because of the staff. I always tip- always. I tip around ten percent for to go orders, and twenty if I’m staying. Lately I’ve been getting a very cold shoulder when picking up my to go orders. Not sure what’s going on, but I can go to any drive thru place for to go coffee- but I come here for the quality. If I feel unwelcome then why put in the extra effort to find parking and walk in to get my coffee?
