Matt's 101 Pub — Restaurant in Wausau

Walked in after a long day of kayaking. Wanted one mixed drink and my non-alcoholic boyfriend who has been to many of places with me and wanted a root beer. I was more than willing to pay and tip very good. Instead I had a lady who made me feel stupid and made both me and my man very uncomfortable. I never chugged and walked out faster out of any bar. I tipped $10 and said you need to be nicer next time to anyone to the young lady who completely ignored me and rolled her eyes. Matt is the owner? Hire better people Matt the people you have are slow and suck. She never got my 38 year old man a root beer just cause he had his ID in the car and rejected her rudely yelling at me to get mine out before she kicked us out. Man gas grey hair and couldn’t get a soda… very dissatisfied and anyone wanting someplace to chill to hang and decompress this is not the one unless you think bullies are hot...

Lady bartender is not very friendly at all. From reading other reviews I see this seems to be an issue. The wings are cheap and fantastic! I definitely recommend. Please update your website and take off your cocktail list since the bartenders don't really know what I'm talking about if I ask for something on that list. They said that was from the summer before last. I love the atmosphere...

Came here to watch a packer game and have a drink and was racially profiled by the staff and owner. Would not recommend coming here unless you are an older white person and like a disrespectful and demeaning...
