Went to try one of the famous smash burgers, to no avail they did not offer them at this time. I thought it was going to be a big sigh however I made a pivot and tried a few appetizers. #1 the mozzarella sticks were great I’m a sucker for places who take the time to use won ton wraps and quality cheese. The key in my mind is not an overdone wrap and still oooey goooey melted mozzarella which they have conquered. 2- Pork Belly Deviled Eggs ! Yes I said that, the pork belly was perfectly cooked and the siracha aoili was a great touch I don’t think I’ve seen these on any other menu in Wisconsin. Great Job 3- Sliders . They were a teaser of the smash burger with grilled onions and cheese perfect bun to beef ratio and the quality of bread was great tasted very fresh. Great attention to detail was taken in presentation/seasoning and garnishes on these items. Now on to my Beverage - Brandy old fashioned sweet!! This was a perfect blend of alcohol and muddled fruit. A true Wisconsin delight. Great Job As a ex restauranteur turned local food critic and blogger I give everyone from front of house to back of the house a 5 star!!! Great Job, I will be back and recommend to everyone looking for that Tosa Niche.

We've been wanting to go here for awhile now. Love the atmosphere, the chandeliers are very pretty. The noise level was fine, we could have a conversation without shouting. This is more of a cocktail bar with heavy snacks. The Brandy old fashioned was spot on. We tried 3 different wings. The buffalo were pretty traditional good flavor not overly spicy. The BBQ bourbon had great flavor not spicy at all. Our favorite was gunpowder it has a little more heat and is a dry rub. The mozzarella sticks were huge and tasty, wrapped in wonton wrappers with a little boost of basil flavor the marinara was great for dipping. The fries were really good too. The service was good even though it looked like there was just one server. It was a busy night in the Village because of the Christmas market. We will definitely be back!!

I tried this place about 6 months ago and enjoyed the experience. Though it was a little pricey, the food, beer and atmosphere made it worth the trip. There is a pretty good variety of beer on the menu, which is always good. I think I got one of the local brewed beers, if I remember correctly. For food, I got the wings, which had great flavor. While they didn't stick out as being the best wings I've ever eaten, they were still very good and definitely worth ordering. The atmosphere of this place was pretty cool as well. You can tell the building is quite old. With that said, It kind of has as old school pub feel to it. Overall, I liked this place. And while it was a little pricey and being I probably will never be back due to it being so far from home, I do recommend this place if you're in the area.

My girlfriend and I were in town visiting her Father and Stepmother and we decided to get away for a few hours and explore the city.

We stopped in here on a Tuesday evening and were greeted by a chatty gal named Danielle, who we discovered was the bar manager. (She insisted on telling us this 4-5 times.) The place was dead, which was fine cause my lady and I don’t mind the quiet.

She quickly and efficiently served us our drinks and sat across the bar…. Glaring at us. Smirking, almost.

Eventually, I thought she was gonna explode from boredom. She was making armpit noises, and everytime we looked over, she would look away.

Um, bizarre.

We asked for a second round and she quickly sprinted over and started preparing them.

As she was adding a garnish, she paused, and said “You know, I can queef on demand. Like seriously, ON DEMAND.”

My girlfriend and I were speechless… I mean, what was she expecting us to say?

With a big grin on her face, she searched our eyes for a reaction.

After another 20 minutes passed listening to her explain how she could make her “Sniz Sneeze” we gave in and asked if she would feel better if we just let her show us. Sigh…

She leaned forward, closed her eyes and we just heard “BRAAAAAAM BRAMMMM BRAAAAAAPPPPPP” which seemed to go on for an eternity.

We played along the best we could and for as long as we could, but once she asked my girlfriend to join her, enough was enough.

To sum it up: Good drinks, nice ambiance, but this establishment should seek someone more qualified (and someone with a sturdier pelvic floor?) to manage...

I absolutely love this place, food and cocktails are delicious. BUT the service I’ve gotten the last 4 times I’ve been has really put a bad taste in my mouth.

After being here several times i decided to bring my parents. We sat down and after 20 mins we finally were greeted and ordered a drink. We then sat there for 40 minutes with our drinks waiting for our server to return. We watched several people arrive after us, order, get drinks, and food, all while being ignored. We finally got up, paid at the bar and left.

I thought maybe they were just having a bad night and returned again with my husband a few weeks later. This time we were able to get food finally, but the woman behind the bar was incredibly rude to us and it still took forever to get her attention to order. Other regulars or people she knew were more of the priority.

After trying again and again I won’t be visiting anytime soon. The staff really need to have a little bit more care for their customers. I’m not asking for much, I just wanna come in, order a drink and some food without waiting over an hour...
