Yet another coworker recommendation and this place was delicious!
Hole in the wall places usually are the best places to go try out. Burris tacos are the new things to try out here locally. I know they have been out for awhile in other places and finally made it to the Mississippi coast and Juan Tequilas did not disappoint with it. You get three tacos in an order and it comes with fresh cut cilantro and onions with wedges of lime and the au jus dipping sauce. If you haven't tried these yet I'm telling you to run down there and try them out.
I also got the lengua tacos and the meat was cooked down to a buttery texture! They are not chewy at all and if you don't know what lengua is I would suggest trying it first before looking it up.
We also got the fish ceviche to have something fresh to cut some of the heavy food. We just love the citrus acid from ceviche dish.
My wife also got the Katy's which was a cheese enchilada topped with beef and comes with a side of rice and beans. I know it sounds like alot of food which it was but, is always good to have leftovers for the...
Read moreI used to like this restaurant. They used to be good, but I hadn't been there in a while, and at some point they must have taken a nose dive. All of our food came out cold, the tortilla chips tasted like old grease, and the portion sizes didn't warrant the amount of money they charged for the dishes. There was barely any meat on my avocados. On top of that I got an upset stomach and started feeling sick after we left. I took two pepto and my stomach is still queasy. The waitress was nice, but they're understaffed and they had only one waitress waiting on everyone. They also had the air conditioner blasting and I was freezing the whole time we were there. We won't be going back. It's sad that they've...
Read moreI wish I could give this place a zero. The food was good but, NOBODY spoke English. I tried to tell them I wanted NO ONIONS, TWO different servers didn't understand so, guess what I got? Onions. Also, I was by myself so, I was trying to watch the TV and I asked for "American" football. I finally asked the only other customer if he could translate it for me. Never did end up with football, had to watch female Boxing... My tip to them was, learn to speak English if you are going to operate a business in the US. One server was rude when I asked her about could I get someone who spoke English, she said "No." And quickly walked away, trying to get my no onions. (Before I even asked about trying to get...
