Logans....Logans.....Logans. What are you doing??? My husband and I just had dinner there tonight and for a 3rd time in a row, it was just....bad. My husband gets the ribeye (medium rare) and for some reason it never comes out right. It's either overcooked (NO pink at all) or it's mooing. Do your cooks know how to do medium rare? Also, the wait time is insane. The restaurant was about a third full...and we waited about 45 minutes to get our food, it might have been an hour. Another family nearby waited for an hour and a half. My husband could see the cook from his seat and he said at one point the guy was twiddling his fingers. We also waited a LONG time for our order to be taken, drinks to be brought and rolls to be brought. My food was fine but you guys forgot to put gravy on my mashed potatoes. My husband just traded his with mine. Last but definitely not least...my husband found a hair UNDER his steak. Seriously? It definitely wasn't ours since me and my husband both have silver hair. This hair was jet black. My husband could no longer eat the rest and said he needed to go to the restroom cuz he felt nauseous. I told our waitress (who is literally the only reason ya'll aren't getting 1 star instead of 2) and she was able to give us a discount. I think she said her name was Analise (sp?) Here are some suggestions for ya. Fire the chef. Seriously, I don't think he cares. Retrain your expeditors. This isn't the first time they have forgotten something. Get your hosts to help with the cleaning, there was literal trash on the floor and they were just standing there gabbing. Your busboy is goofing off, fire him. He walked by several dirty tables and did nothing. Then he picked up a few things from one table and walked away. At one point it looked like he was taking a nap at one of the dirty tables....then got up and walked away....table was still dirty. There is no reason a dirty table should sit for 30 minutes when it wasn't that busy. Schedule more wait staff. Analise was hustling but it looked like she had too many tables to handle. Read moreI would rate it a 0 star but you can't do that. We first got there and were waiting to be seated and it took forever before anyone at the host stand even acknowledged us. Then a friend of one of the waiters walked in and they immediately started telling him they were going to clean a table off for him and have him seated. Finally after being seated at 8:30 p.m. we got our drink order and ordered an appetizer. About 15 minutes later the waitress came up and took our food order. We ordered the fried pickles and they came out hardly battered at all. We finally got our food at about 9:40 p.m. My 9 year old son ordered a steak and sweet potato and complained that his sweet potato was cold and tasted funny. My wife ordered grilled chicken and rice which were both served to her cold. I ordered the $22 filet mignon and it was a very poor quality of meat. I also ordered a loaded baked potato and rice and when our food arrived at the table I had no rice. I also ordered 2 toppings for the steak and did not get either of them. After having to track down the waitress 5 minutes later we informed her that I did not get my rice or my toppings for my steak and after that it took another 10 minutes for her to bring them out. By that time I had already eaten my entire baked potato and half of my steak and the rice that she brought me was cold. We usually don't complain and we did not complain this time but the look on my wife's face got the attention of the waitress and she ended up taking the price of the steak toppings off and also got the manager to take $10 off of our total bill which was nice of her to do but still did not make up for the poor experience we had tonight. We will definitely not be going back to this steakhouse if you can even call it that. I can cook a better steak at home according to my 9 year old son who shared this poor experience...
Read moreHad the worst dining experience at the Waxahachie location last night with my son. Got seated promptly but then waited for over 10+ minutes for our waitress to come over and take our order. The place had maybe 10-15 people eating so they definitely weren't "busy". Because we waited so long, we ordered our drinks and meals at the same time. My drink order was incorrect but our waitress never returned to our table to check up. I had to flag down a food runner to ask for a new drink. We never saw our waitress again! They brought my replacement drink and our salads about 5 minutes later. We still had not gotten our rolls & butter!! (This is the reason my son likes Logan's so we were very disappointed) I asked to see a Manager because of the multiple problems. The manager informed us that they were out of rolls and it would be 7=10 minutes for them to come out of the oven. He also stated that the waitress "needed additional training". The rolls finally arrived as we finished our salads....but with no plates. The manager came back to check on us and I let him know about the missing plates. He quickly returned with them and again apologized for the additional mistake. Our food ( two 8oz rib-eyes) came out shorty afterwards and was cooked exactly as ordered. At least the kitchen did something right that evening!! The manager came back to check on us a couple times and re-assigned another waiter to our table. We finished our steaks and they brought us our check. Everything was full price and no concessions were offered for the incredibly bad service. I wasn't expecting a complete comp (although I think it was more than reasonable given the multiple mistakes) but at least offer us a free dessert or something.
