Taco Bueno — Restaurant in Waxahachie

Mistakes happens and the world isn’t perfect. That being said, I want to warn others that the food items at this location are overpriced and undersized. They have drastically reduced yes size of certain items and kept the price the same. For example? The big freaking taco shrank to size of a normal taco and now very tiny amounts of veggies and beef placed inside and costs almost $5. Also, the cinnamons chips have almost ZERO cinnamon sprinkles on them, over baked like they sat out for a long while and very small amounts of chips placed into each bag. I used to eat these regularly, can compare to other locations portion sizes and past sizing and oh, how low they have fallen! I brought it up to the employee and was told, that is how management instructed them to be packed — tiny. I ordered 3 cinnamon chip bags and got only 2 tiny ones ( thank goodness I checked before driving off). And apparently, “easy ice” means pack it full with ice. In addition, the employee seemed irritated and wanted to hurry me along when I brought up these concerns. Certainly will not be returning to that location and will warn friends and family away. I hope they enjoyed the $10 they got from me today because that is the last time I will ever eat at a Taco Bueno. This is the first time I've tried their food and it will be the last. I ordered my food with a minor change, no sour cream. My child's taco was supposed to be meat and cheese only. They read the order back to me correctly, even my receipt says it correctly. But apparently they gave me whatever was lying around, because it was all wrong. It was enough of an annoyance to have to scrape lettuce and tomatoes off a child's taco, re-cheese it and warm it up. But I get to eating a burrito without sour cream, or so I thought, to find it overloaded with the stuff. It's hilarious that fast food workers want $15/hour when they cannot even do the job they are supposed to do to begin with. All in all, this was just awful, and because I'm sure they gave me whatever had been sitting out, I'm expecting to get salmonella or food poisoning from this place. DO. NOT GET THE NEW STREET TACOS! I went through drive through and bought some the meat was so burned it was the texture of jerky to chew it. The cheese on them tasted spoiled. And the tortillas were raw. Worst street tacos I have ever had. I bought 6, because they have them 3 for 5. I also bought my daughter nachos. It looked like slop in the container. I had not left the parking lot and realized what a horrible job they did just by the presentation of the nachos. Of course my daughter reluctantly ate them with a utensil, but was very unhappy how they threw everything in there... She also had green chips in her nachos. I also got a beef potato burrito. I always request fresh potato. As I did this time as well. The potato was stale inside the burrito. Everything was cold and gross... The tacos were so gross I gave them to my dog and HE WOULDNT EVEN EAT THEM.. And he usually eats anything... I'm extremely disappointed. The girl working was more worried with her appearance than talking with me...
