Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Waxahachie

My husband and I stopped by Dairy Queen in Waxahachie to grab a quick bite for dinner. He ordered the #2 with cheese, no onions or tomatoes. I ordered the BBQ ranch burger and added bacon to it because oddly they didn't think it would be amazing with bacon. I asked for extra pickles too. Well the guy that took our order didn't repeat what we asked for and told us to pull up for the total. When we pulled up to the window there was a girl there who gave us the wrong receipt. We told her then she gave us the right one which came out to $20.85!!!!! We usually check our food before we leave the parking lot but we were so hungry we just wanted to get home and eat having faith it was all correct. Not to our surprise, the order was wrong as this location always messes up our order. My husband had tomatoes and onions on his burger and no cheese! We picked them off and added our own cheese. He said it didn't even taste that great. My burger wasn't amazing but it wasn't disgusting. I was so hungry I at it. They didn't add extra pickles on the order but there were more on my burger than my husbands.... I had to take the onion rings off because they got soggy and I took the top bunk off because it was like fresh dough squishing in my mouth. I just don't think we will ever eat there again. We may have ice cream there because it's good and they never mess that up. Really...

disgusting! Line was extremely long waited 25 mins in drive thru ordered a burger mustard add ketchup and a small chocolate shake. Shake had no cherry and not a lick of chocolate flavor to it. Worker didnt give me a receipt and seem to held my card way too long! Burger lets say no ketchup anywhere and mustard all over wrapper. bun old white spots on bottom and very hard not from being toasted. Fries not done and not even filled to top of container this place is a pain! drove back after discovering my food was old and manager was told I wanted my $ back and returning burger and half a cup of shake! First of all it melted after 2 sips and that is how much i guess of the shake was ice cream WITH NO CHERRY! SECOND OF ALL THE GUY IN BACK HAD ON NO HAIR NET AND WAS SWEATING DRIPPING HIS SWEAT OVER GRILL AND PACKAGING OF CUSTOMERS FOOD! MANAGER CAME FROM BACK SEEM TO BE TIRED AND UNBOTHERED SWIPED MY CARD GAVE ME A VOID RECEIPT AND STATED MY MONEY WAS BACK ON CARD! NOT EVEN APOLOGING FOR ME NOT GETTING A RECEIPT IN THE FIRST PLACE. JUST SEND THE FOOD INSPECTION PEOPLE IN IM SURE THEY ARE ABOUT TO GET SHUT...

I went there on 3/28/25 around 5:15 pm and ordered a 6 piece steak finger basket and waited in the drive thru for at least 30 minutes. Got home and only had a 4 piece basket and it really was not warm and I was charged for a piece 6 piece basket which was 16 dollars and change. I then called the manager and told him about what I received on the order, as usual "I'm sorry sir" and then said that they were short handed today. He then told me that I could come back and they give me the other 2 steak fingers. I then told him that was not going back through the traffic for that. I asked him what is so hard about getting a simple order right, he replied that they were still dealing with " COVID" . So I simply said that if they can't get anybody's order right and have the food hot, that they just need to shut the doors. I get it that everywhere you go places are short handed due to people not wanting work, but those that are working need to follow the food orders or give the what people want and quit...
