First, the price is a bit deceiving. My son and I went recently with the expectation of paying $16 for the buffet. We were charged over $22. Apparently the $8 only applies if you have water to drink next time I'll know better. The buffet depleted for the most part, empty pizza pans while others had but a few slices left and had been sitting under the heat lamps for what seemed to be quite a while. The spaghetti and meat sauce and alfredo was empty and the whole time I was there was not once replenished even though they were informed of it. The salad bar was extremely limited and absolutely none of the dressings were labeled so you didn't know if you were getting blue cheese Caesar ranch or whatever. The parmesan cheese that was supposed to be on each table we're all empty and when the waitress was informed of it, she was very polite and promised to be right back. She also never bothered to come back and check on us with drinks and so forth. We never saw her again. Oddly, when we first entered, the staff member taking our money at the register, complained that it was very busy all day and they were having a hard time keeping up yet, we looked around and they were hardly any patrons whatsoever in the restaurant. Would I go back? If I could get in for $8, I might but at this point it was a complete turn off. Dried out pizza, mostly unreplinished food on all stations, pasta, Pizza, salad bar, even dessert. I was very unsatisfied and even at the lower price, I felt like I did not get my money's worth I couldn't even find a piece...
Read moreI've been a regular here for a couple years, I don't know what has happened but Sunday my son and I visited, we were greeting with no problem. Quickly rung up 2 pizza buffet and took my money, we found a place to sit, which was no problem, there was only 1 other customer in there. We took our seats and waited a few minutes and no one came with our drinks so I told my son we can go ahead and fix our plates and we did, after sitting down and eating a slice or 2 of the older pizza , I said out loud are we suppose to fix our own drinks? The server brought our drinks and my son ordered a specialty pizza , after about 30 minutes after eating he states I guess they forgot the specialty pizza I requested only to find out it was placed o. The bar with out us being noticified. I'll sometimes over look a lower food quality because of how hard the servers work , especially if it's super busy. Note that I shouldn't have to over look especially when it's over 30 dollars. I can't over look the quality of service, that tells me you just don't care about...
Read morePizza inn is a nice little spot in the town of waycross, GA. The food is not great but it is amazing for the price point. Super friendly and attentive patrons all around. What really got me to write this review was a server by the name of Melynda S. Super attentive, friendly and just the hardest working person there as far as I could see, not to put anyone down, just saying she can do it all. Cashing customers out, taking orders, bringing drinks to the table while wiping tables, sweeping mopping. Literally a super woman. Granted it wasn't super busy but still plenty of work for a single person. My respects to her and her hard work. I hope they realize what a gem they have working for the pizza inn. And may she never change. My daughter and I will definitely be coming back with the rest of our family. Have a blessed one pizza in and dont lose Melynda or you'll lose me as a...
