Hardee’s — Restaurant in Wayne Township

No lobby open at this time. Also when I bought a chicken sandwich meal around lunch rush they where not very busy and I now know why , 1st is all they care about is rushing you at drive-thru so there are no smiles or friendliness and grabbed my money fast and won't even give a customer a chance to but money away or nothing they just rudely hand you your drink and money and food so quickly and don't even care to say thanks and come back again. I get it everyone is in a rush but my gosh give a smile and act like you care about the customers but maybe I'm a bit old school. I will say this my food even though I did ask for fresh fries and less salt they never did as they where cold and old and trust me I can tell I'm a cook and have been for years . Also the chicken had been sitting there for awhile and when I asked for a little more mayo they never put it on and the crispy chicken was small for being the big chicken and really dark brown like overcooked and soggy with oil, plus the toasted bun was burnt. I have to say fast food is going down and when my grandson won't eat there kids meal chicken stripes and he loves chicken and can spit the chicken stripes out because they where supper cold and way overcooked that's bad . Also we got a attitude from some women in drive-thru because she saw my husband and grandson and had the nerve to ask what country they come from. They're drive-thru was 4 cars back when we pulled up to order, which is understandable due to the lobby being closed. We were asked by the lady running drive-thru to hold. After approximately 5 minutes she returned turn back to take our order.... Halfway through she placed us on hold again for about 90 seconds and then a young man came on the headset to continue. After we then started completely over at the menu board we pulled to window to have to re-re-re-order. The drive-thru continued to backup behind us 7 deep. We were asked to pull forward as were the next 4 cars that were immediately behind us. One of the car is actually ended up leaving after paying for their food due to the amount of time it was taking for any of us to get our orders. Please keep in mind that there are still people ordering and coming in to the line. After approximately 30 minutes the young man carried out everyone's bags of food to their cars. They have had a now hiring sign up for years, but honestly? I have worked for a variety of food-based establishments in various positions. This was just ridiculous! Where in the 🌎 are the owners?
