Well, after giving this particular branch of Buffalo Wild Wings multiple tries, I can honestly say that I will not be returning to this location. Everytime me and my friends have come here there has been one issue or another. We frequently come here during most UFC Fights and typically have come to expect not great service just due to the staff, and the business of the location. Now there are some things I’m willing to forgo but last Sunday was my breaking point.
This Sunday was UFC 311 and me and 1 other person waited 10 minutes to even be given a chance to place orders. We gave them and received 2 out of 3 things the first item which was wings came quickly, but the second which was the hatch queso took quite a while, and came out lukewarm at best. Didn’t feel like making it a thing so we both accepted it. Then 3 different wrong things came to our table which we said hey this isn’t ours we’re just still waiting on our burger which was annoying but whatever. Then as we’re midway in the main event I asked on 3 separate occasions to put the fight on more tv’s as you know, that’s why most of these people are here. What was being shown in place of the fight wasn’t even the NFL playoffs which was on but instead, USA dodge ball league.
After finally getting our food and drinks we kindly informed our waiter that we were going to step outside briefly before the last 3 fights of the main event were underway, and please let someone know so they don’t clear our table as we still wanted our stuff that took way too long to get to us. We were not gone all of 2 and a half minutes because we left as the first round started and came back and it was still on, but alas the food the drinks were all gone. Whatever now we’re annoyed but you know just bring us our drinks back at least and the waiter was cool about it and replaced them on the house.
Now finally, as we’re entering the last two fights, I’m beginning to wonder, why is the volume so low tonight? I’ve been here multiple times and they always turn it up for the fights I don’t need it blasting being able to make out the commentary would be nice. So I asked someone if they could get the volume turned up please to which I was basically told to go screw myself in not as many words. Ok, fine I’ll ask my waiter instead. Not only did it never get done, I asked my waiter prior to the second to last fight and asked him again once the 5 round fight was over and the next one was beginning and again nothing happened.
I’m writing this review because the state of the bathroom which is honestly abysmal most times I’ve gone, even though employees are walking in and out and leaving it as such? Fine. Food wants to be cold and take forever? Fine. You want to clear tables because you think we’re leaving even though I’ve informed you otherwise? Whatever. But the LEAST they could do is care about the customer service as it pertains to watching a pay per view at your establishment. I don’t know why it’s so hard to nail things down, and I’m almost certain there was a manager there which makes the experience even more baffling. I will not be returning to this location for a fight, a game, or anything for that matter and given how they treated me and my friends the last few times? Buffalo Wild Wings probably won’t be getting much more money out of me. I’ll spend it at House of Que. By the way, these pictures are from the men’s bathroom of which MULTIPLE workers walked into and did...
Read moreWhere do I start? We came right from the Wayne PAL bingo as it was one of the few places that was still open passed 12am. We walk in and get seated right away which was great! The waitress was prompt on addressing us however was very nasty that we didn’t know what we wanted to drink right when we sat down. It took her about 10 minutes to come back and get our drink order, we asked for a Black Cherry White claw she told us that they don’t serve it, and we said of we’re sorry it has it listed on the menu and she then corrected herself and said of we are out of it. We finally ordered our drinks and boy we should have just known it was a night from hell. It took Jacqueline almost 15 minutes to bring the drinks back, we asked Steve the manager if he could find her because it was so long and we hadn’t even order our food. Our drinks we just sitting at the bar and Jacqueline was taking food orders from tables who were sat after us, a table of 12 might I add that was seated in two separate tables as the manager Steve addressed that it was separate tables but together. Right then and there we should have known our table of 3 would be shafted for a bigger party, anyway, Jacqueline finally brought our drinks back, we ordered a wine, Diet Coke and Corona. Well that’s a other issue, the limes that we brought were rotten brown and had an odor. We asked Jacqueline if we could have new limes and were told that’s how all the limes are. When we challenged her and asked, would she put these her drink, she came back with a snarky attitude and said “I was able to be my bartender to cut you a brand new lime..” of course that set us off, because of her attitude. She walked away from the table heard ur rumblings and came back grabbed the rotten limes and threw them to the side. We then asked to speak to a manager, oh by the way the same manager we asked in the beginning to find our waitress. Steve the manager came over, as I am sure you can imagine our attitudes we heated at that point because Jacqueline just kept coming back for confrontation. Steve stated to us that we weren’t being civil and that he wanted us to talk to him civil. He only heard one side of the story that happened and that was from the blonde with a Chanel headband Jacqueline the waitress. We finally calmed down and talked the to Manager and he asked what he could do and we asked to give us a different waitress and he did. He gave us Shawn we was great! But Jacqueline put our food order in which we are sure was done maliciously, we asked for no pico and jalapeños on the nachos. Well no pico was done correctly, but they had jalapeños! I said some to Steve that I asked for no jalapeños and he said oh sorry and at that point we’re pretty sure the food definitely would have been effected. Fast forward, we enjoyed our meal, however Jacqueline was catching attitudes with other tables stating wait one second I will be with you when I can. This is all happening at 12am.... final words, if you go avoid both the manager Steve and Jacqueline... very very very poor customer service... oh should I add this was our first time here??? If you decide to come ask for Shawn he was great! What sucks about this experience is we are in the middle of a pandemic and we give restaurants a fair chance because they are suffering which also means they need to step their game up especially since it’s only 25%...
Read moreMy wife and I visited this particular location during the San Francisco 49rs and Detroit Lions Championship game this past Sunday. Upon arrival we sat at the bar on the far end near the exit. There was no one at the bar to attend to us, so we figured we had to order by way of scanning the bar code right from the bar. No biggie. The waitress came by and offered to take our drinks. Now I'm not a mind reader nor do i pretend to be, but having dealt with people all my life she definitely was not very welcoming nor seemed like she wanted to wait on us. Again I could be wrong but all the signs were there from the start. She then offered us menus but we decided to order with my phone. However, after selecting our order via my phone there seemed to have been an open tab with a beer instead of the soda i asked for. So there was a gentleman with a clipboard behind the bar who quickly resolved the issue and simply took our order. (Mozzarella sticks, Traditional Wings with Fries and a Cobb salad) Fast forward 10 minutes later and a gentleman from the back brought out the Mozzarella sticks first, with barley any Mariana Sauce but we just ate it no biggie.. another 10 minutes went by, and my wife's Cobb Salad came out.. no issues, she loved it.. I would say another 12 minutes went by, and the wings have yet to arrive. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. So I sorta flagged down the gentlemen with the clipboard in hand (who initially took the order) and I asked him why is it taking so long and I really didn't understand why everything was coming 10 minutes at a time. He seemed a bit defensive and told me that wings take a bit longer since they are made to order, reminded us that we were in a sports bar as if I can't tell the difference between a restaurant or a sports bar, but reassured us that he would check for us. About another 4 minutes later, our not so polite waitress brought the wings with fries. She dropped our plates and went about her way. So my wings were luke warm, to say the least. Seems like they were hot at one point and left to cool down before i got them. Our waitress never asked us if everything was OK. She never came back and never even spoke to us. I had to push our used plate to the side. I had to waive her down, and without asking if we needed anything, she sorta let out a sigh and inserted our check inside a cup. My wife said thank you to her several times through out the night ( after giving us the drinks, bringing our food and receiving our check) and she was just not friendly, never a your welcome just not pleasent to deal with. My entire experience seemed very confrontational, so i decided not to address it at the moment in an attempt not to escalate the situation. I had to flag the "clipboard" gentlemen once again to come charge me out because it was already 940ish on a Sunday night, and she didn't seem to have a care or worry in the world. He took my card, charged us, and at the very least, he had the decency to say, " I hope you folks have a good night," which we appreciated. I left no tip and wrote exactly how I felt on the recipet Our waitress is very unpleasant! Whatever she was going through has nothing to do with anyone who walks in. Buffalo Wild Wing,...
