Birthday lunch today !! We have arrived to the Wayne location because Paramus was closed. It's easily viewed from outside. The place is immaculate, the decor is gorgeous & not gaudy. I had to use the ladies room & so clean and well kept. The market table and feijoada bar are in front of where the meats are fired up and set up to serve. They serve the meats using a sword lol. It looked like it. Once you turn that go sign it's like rapid fire meats being presented to you . Now because I like to help people out so they don't look silly like I do ....there's a small tong given to you along with your silverware....when the meat is being sliced at tableside you grab your tong and grab it placing it on your plate. If it's sausage they just cut you a piece and place it for you. On the table there will be these tiny fried pillows that taste like a cheese bread puff ....oh my goodness so delicious!! So we decided no appetizer, in order to fully enjoy the churrasco experience. For drinks my husband as usual ordered a beer and I decided to try a capirinha. That is the national drink in Brasil. The one I tried was Mango Habanero. Not spicy at all, sweet, and refreshing. Our Lunch Churrasco began once we flipped the little signs to green!! We walked over to the market table, they had from charcuterie meats, pickled and grilled vegetables, salads and fruits! I had a little of everything! When we got to our table the meats began. They are cooked between medium rare and medium well. Luckily I had medium rare slices 😁... I'm know sure if you can request medium rare only ...if anyone goes let me know lol. They serve 2 small side dishes for the table. Honestly we hardly made a dent in them. We were so full, we couldn't take another bite. We did end our lunch with 2 espressos. One thing I must say that the ambiance is a bit loud, not a bad thing but unfortunately my husband & I are hearing impaired. So for my fellow hearing impaired friends, boost up those hearing aids or sit on your hearing side so you can hear what delicious meat is being sliced. I totally recommend trying this restaurant out! Enjoy!!!

#FogodeChão in Wayne, NJ I recently attended a networking event at Fogo de Chão in Wayne, NJ, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This Brazilian steakhouse exceeded my expectations in several areas: the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the service. **Atmosphere:** The ambiance at Fogo de Chão is both elegant and inviting, perfect for both professional gatherings and personal celebrations. The interior is stylishly decorated with comfortable seating arrangements, providing a sophisticated yet cozy environment. The lighting is warm, and the overall decor is reflective of the restaurant's Brazilian heritage. >Service: The service was impeccable. From the moment I arrived, the staff was attentive and courteous. The servers were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. During our event, a skilled waiter prepared a traditional Brazilian dish tableside, showcasing both the quality of the ingredients and the expertise of the staff. > Food: The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. Fogo de Chão is known for its rodízio-style service, where a variety of meats are brought to the table on skewers and carved to order. Each cut was perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful. The selection was extensive, including beef, lamb, pork, and chicken, catering to all tastes. The sides and accompaniments, presented in small bowls, were equally impressive and complemented the meats well. Ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were authentic. > Overall Experience: Overall, my experience at Fogo de Chão in Wayne, NJ, was exceptional. The combination of a warm atmosphere, top-notch service, and delicious food made it a memorable evening. Whether you're looking to host a business event, celebrate a special occasion, or simply enjoy a fantastic meal, Fogo de Chão is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend it and look forward to my next visit. Fogo de Chão is located at 1400 Willowbrook Mall, Wayne, NJ 07470 Be sure to make a reservation, as it can get quite busy, especially during weekends and events.

My son wanted a farewell dinner at Rodizio before he heads out to Japan to serve for 3 years - so choice fell on this location. In the heart of a Willowbrook Mall.. place is big - bar, casual tables, dinning area a few smaller private rooms… Yes - it is EXPENSIVE. As in NYC or Vegas Expensive - so if you are budget conscious - i would recommend checking out pricing before booking.. They were busy even on a tuesday evening. We were quickly seated and all boys opted for chorizo service (rodizio) while mrs went for seabass. Large appetizer help yourself table with plenty of everything for any taste - fruits (papaya was awesome), cheeses, meats, soups, vegies and fish… then… then the on-slot of serving meat began. This is perhaps one change i would recommend they make - dont bring stuff out rapid fire! We sometimes had meat brought before even having a chance to try what just ended up in our plate - literally less than a minute apart.. it’s distracting and doesnt allow a chance to adequately try and taste everything on a plate or have a conversation - yes, there is always an option of flipping a sign to red and noone will come… Anyways - too many choices to name of what was brought from lamb, chicken, port and obviously beef. Grilled cheese with honey was also a part of the feast… Werent thrilled with lamb, and pork was a bit too salty, but overall - we were all stuffed and happy.. My advice - go light on snacks and appetizers if you are coming for meat.. leave room :) Meat was too quality and cooked to perfection… noone had room for deserts… Overall - positive vibe, but for pricing - would expect a bit more privacy and upscale atmosphere but again - not that big of a deal..

Extremely Disappointed – Would Not Return

We had a party of five tonight and chose to skip the continuous meat option, instead ordering the seafood tower appetizer, the tomahawk steak (which is supposed to feed 4+), lobster mashed potatoes, and crab cake asparagus. From start to finish, the experience was chaotic and frustrating.

First, they served sparkling water with no ice. When we asked for ice, they brought a pitcher… only to take it away five minutes later to use at another table. Totally unsanitary.

Then we were told our tomahawk steak had been accidentally served to another table and it would be another 10 minutes to prepare a new one. We said that was fine, but then realized we hadn’t even received our seafood tower yet—and they looked confused when we asked about it. We had to go over our whole order again.

The seafood tower was decent but inconsistent: served on ice, but the crab legs were waterlogged and the lobster was dry. They gave us only one small melted butter dish for five people, which was just annoying to pass around.

The steak, when it finally came, tasted good but would maybe feed three people. Definitely not the “4 or more” as advertised. The asparagus was dry and wilted, and the $18 lobster mashed potatoes were underwhelming. To make things worse, all the sides came out at different times.

But the worst part? The constant confusion. We were never able to relax. Servers kept bringing entrées we never ordered—multiple times. It became a running joke at the table. Then they brought us about 8 side dishes we never asked for and just left them there. When we said none of it was ours, they just shrugged and walked away. It felt like we were being punk’d.

At the end, someone came over to ask how everything was. When we explained the chaos, the only thing he responded to was the steak portion size, saying “people interpret it differently.” Then why write “4 or more” in the description?? He completely ignored all the other issues.

We managed to laugh it off as a family, but this was one of the most disorganized and baffling dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was okay, but the service was absolutely horrendous—especially considering the price point. I would never go back and would...

So I've been coming to this Fogo since it opened and last night was just terrible and my dining partner and I probably won't be back. We asked if it was possible to be served Rodizio at the tables near the bar because the dining room is too packed and too cafeteria like. Very unpleasant. I understand the section isn't open but if we're asking to sit over there, it's probably for a reason. No biggie. We go sit in the dining room. The server literally did not speak English. It was very difficult to order drinks or food with her bc we had to keep repeating ourselves bc she couldn't understand. The quality of the food at the Market table has definitely declined. We didn't see our waitress again for almost an hour. The meats were fine. When we did finally get a hold of the waitress I simply asked her for a couple of lemons, as I wanted to squeeze them on my salad. Her response was "You want a seltzer water?" Like, no. Just some lemons. Which I had to repeat to her 3 times. Of course I never saw the lemons. I accidentally dropped my fork on the floor (totally my fault) so I simply asked for another one. After 5 minutes of sitting with my plate in front of me with no way to eat, she strolls by like I didn't ask her for an eating utensil. I was like "Umm...can I get that fork". Which she quickly got but like, I have to ask you for a fork twice? This is a restaurant, we're here to eat. She kept calling me "Lady" which I thought was inappropriate (and I'm not a Karen, I'm a 33 year old brown person). But it just wasn't appropriate. We asked for the check which took entirely too long. My dining partner and I have been coming there since a week after it opened but we were simply appalled by the service. Manager came around and asked how everything was. Dining partner who was totally cool about it asked why you can't sit in the bar area. Manager gave a pretty decent reason but it's still stupid. But the rules are the rules. Nidia, our very absent minded waitress then drops a QR code on the table and asked for a review. Sis you do not want me to do that! Overall we decided to give this place a break for now. Service has been on the decline for a while and this was the last...

I took my bf here for his birthday back in June 2024. This was our first time ever going to a Fogo in jersey. We went for dinner, the food was good but the manager was very rude I believe his name was Castro or something like that ! The server however had way better customer service skills than the manager! I ordered Salmon and my bf had the rodizio now I don’t eat read meat but when the chicken came I tasted it, I figured it’s no big deal I’m paying for it and my bf didn’t want it . So this manager comes to my table and start pointing his finger in my plate telling me that I’m not supposed to have said item on my plate ! Now one thing I hate is people playing with my food and surely do not put your nasty little hands in my plate so I said okay. So I didn’t eat anything else off of my boyfriend’s plate because this manager was literally the food police ! Now it’s comes time for the bill and containers. The server who was so kind gave me 2 containers. Manager comes out of nowhere to say “oh you can’t take certain menu items home” ! And he proceeds to try and take the plate out of my boyfriend’s hand! Which was extremely rude … instead of explaining to us that we couldn’t take Rodizio home he got smart and tried to take something from my bf ! Whoever this guy is it was a mistake making him your manager. He was even acting rude to our server which I didn’t like that’s why tipped the guy in cash ! Btw the entire time this manager was hovering over us to the point where we could barely enjoy our meal and experience, he gave better customer service to the people of his ethnicity ! Because there was a table of at least 12 people and they were definitely sharing the Rodizio with one another but he never said anything to them! All in all I felt uncomfortable the entire time, because this man kept watching my table and coming back to tell me unnecessary things as if I didn’t have a waiter that was very helpful! Who ever is in charge of the hiring process here you guys need to find better management ! I have told everyone I know about this and will never come here again, I’ll stick to the...
