Went there this morning. I wanted to place two separate orders because I was with a friend. The girl taking Yoder said I can’t do that. I asked why she couldn’t do it and she was kind of smart and just said she couldn’t do it so I placed the order and I told her I would talk to her at the window. I went up to the window and she said I can’t do that. I said I want to pay mine with a gift card. My friend wants to pay cash for her so it’s two separate orders. She said per corporate. She wasn’t allowed to do that you had to pay for it all together. I explain to her that we wanted to pay separate orders again raising my voice because she was rude. She said well if you wanted to pay separate, you should have come lnside??? I told her I wasn’t able to come inside because my friend just had a broken hip and wasn’t able to walk in. Then the more I thought about it I thought that’s none of her business to begin with. It just went downhill from there. I ask for the manager, she acted totally dumbfounded and couldn’t even pronounce her last name. She said I’ll do it this time but going forward we can’t do that like she was doing me a favor I like to give local businesses a chance, so this is what happened to me about maybe a year ago I went up to the drive-through and tried to place an order, and nobody was answering sat there for about quite a while, and just pulled away. There was a stream of cars behind me. I found out the employees just decided to walk out. No sign up. No nothing there said all these people to other times they had my drinks completely wrong. do one time I sent it back in the window three times before they got it right I will never go back to this poorly run store. Read moreI'm a huge Dunkin fan and couldn't be happier that this one has appeared in Waynesboro. While it has the normal growing pains expected of a new location, such as training staff, occasional incorrect orders, mobile app strangeness, etc, it has been more than made up for by the excellent service I've received.
On one of my first visits, the app ordered and charged me twice for the single order I put in. When I got to the window, the person there started to tell me I ordered twice when Harish stepped in and told me, "The app made an error, come back tomorrow and I won't charge you for your order." AWESOME. So I came back the next day and was helped by Kira (hope I'm spelling these names correctly). She knew exactly what my situation was, got me my identical order made fresh, and she and Harish gave it to me at the window at no additional charge.
This one instance of excellent service has more than made up for the other little things (slightly wrong sandwich, slightly different donut) because I know they're willing to make things right if I have an issue. Maybe I'm easy to please, but it's hard to be unhappy with a delicious drink in hand and a smiling face at the window.
Give them a chance, they're already doing excellently for a new location and a couple months from now this place will be running like clockwork. Thank you again Harish and Kira, you'll be...
Read moreThe food is pretty good that they make here. Get orders wrong alot and Unfortunately, half the time they don't have things that you want or the special advtsd. chocolate banana bread. They're out of stuff a lot even when they're not that busy. I've been there when they've had hardly any donuts and sometimes even if it's not a busy day. The girls that work there are pretty nice I've never seen anybody be rude or anything but they never look too happy. They are not the people ordering products so it's not their fault. Even the manager isn't the person ordering... it's the district person. Whenever I try to call phone not answered. It must be the franchise owner that's behind all the issues or whoever that district person managing this store. I moved down from Dunkin country..where there's a dunkin' donuts on every third corner practically (in Massachusetts)... it's very big. I only ever went into once or twice the whole time where they were out of something... One thing only andthat is after a huge morning and their stores have at least a dozen to two or three dozen people in them at a time pretty much ALL day long and also you never have to wait long. So whoever is doing the ordering for the store, maybe they just need to increase some of their basics and popular items....
