The employees seem rushed and irritated inside, but when going through the drive through there is the sweetest woman who wants to ensure you enjoy your visit and get what you come for.
The atmosphere is homey and pretty, but everyone seems to stare at one another (employees and customers alike), giving up and down "reviews," which make it too intimidating to feel comfortable enough to sit inside.
Their cups are far too overpriced, but probably some of my most beautiful. They aren't as well insulated as Dunkin' cups which keep your drinks hot/cold for hours. My ice melts almost immediately in Starbucks cups, while I have left a drink overnight in a Dunkin' cup by accident and there was still a lot of ice inside when opened the next day. So you're basically paying purely for the brand, which they really are beautiful.
I was thrilled when I had found they offer low-fat/dairy free options now on their menu, especially after my gallbladder started failing and I had to change my whole diet. Their food is mostly artificial tasting but I love their turkey bacon sandwich on my way to work. Just watch out for their cinnamon drinks. It's not the kind of cinnamon you would expect on a dessert. It makes their coffee taste like a...
Read moreI keep trying over and over because I really do enjoy Starbucks. I order a “blended” drink… and when I get it, it was just ice and the drink contents not blended at all. If you preorder they make the cold drinks before the hot ones so they sit there and melt while you wait on the hot drinks to be made. I ALWAYS have to ask for a cup carrier (which I have been denied a couple times to carry 4 drinks to my coworkers because they didn’t have any) and I have also had to request straws for drinks that should come with them. I also have had to request my food that was ordered with drinks. Maybe it’s the system that’s set in place, or just how busy they are for lack of employees. However service and quality of products should not suffer due to those things. I really can’t wait until this location operates normally like other locations...
Read moreI was annoyed that I brought in my own cup and was treated as if I had grown a third head. I simply asked them to rinse it out before pouring coffee into it (like I have done in many other stores), and another barista walked up to the front of the counter and said they could take clean cups only and directed to me the water spigot next to the trash can. When I came back to the counter another barista offered me a venti coffee mug to place my eight ounce cup in. It then was passed to two different baristas before it finally reached its final destination. Then an altogether different barista had to claw my cup out of the mug in order to hand it to me. It was absurd and completely defeated any hygenic policy and my cup was probably more hygenic than before I handed my cup off. I shouldn’t have asked for it...
