Firstly, I have been here many times in the past and considered the food to be pretty good. I just moved back to the area and wanted to have breakfast at the tried and true Weasie's. I was quite disappointed. My boyfriend ordered French toast, which came out pretty soggy and pitiful looking. It was supposed to be "texas toast" french toast, or so the menu said. it was just plain ole sliced white bread. I ordered pancakes and one egg, over easy. The egg was entirely cooked through, not over easy. The pancakes were decent, but the syrup that goes on them just tastes like corn syrup. There's nothing maple flavored about it. And the entire bottle is just coated in the sticky crap. The coffee, just eh. I've had better coffee from 7 Eleven.
Secondly, one of the girls waiting on us had tons of bleach stains and holes in her work shirt. It also appeared as though she were wearing her bathing suit under it. If you're working in the kitchen where no one really sees you, this might pass. However, if you are working in the dining area where EVERYONE sees you, for goodness sake, wear something respectable. Don't come in to work looking as though you just spent all morning at the beach and then fell into a bucket of bleach on your way in. That's very unprofessional.
Lastly, NO restaurant should allow their wait staff to wear facial piercings at work. Every single member of the wait staff at this establishment had some sort of metal in their face; some had multiple piercings. This is just gross. No one thinks your lip rings are attractive, or appetizing for that matter. In fact, my boyfriend couldn't even look at the waitress while ordering because he was so grossed out from her THREE lip rings. I'm really surprised that management allows this just based on the large proportion of regulars from the older generation folks who generally disagree with the idea of any kind of piercings other ears.
All in all, I doubt I'll be going back unless there is a dramatic change in the food and policies here. There was just such a feeling of uncleanliness and overall poor quality that I don't think I could be swayed to give it another shot.

Read moreMy husband and I frequent Wease’s often. LOVE the food, however, we have a Service Dog and the last time we went in, we was in the process to sit down. The tall long blonde haired waitress came over like someone shot her and told us we could NOT bring the dog in. I looked at her shocked because we ate there the night before with absolutely no problem. I told her she was a service dog, sarcastically she said we had customers last night complain. She asked, What is she a service dog for? I told her that it was illegal to ask what her job was and illegal to say she could not be there. I told her she could not keep me from having her there because of her being a Service Dog. I told her I have papers would you like to see them? With a nasty attitude, she said yes. I showed her my card with the service dog pic. She said hatefully, we’ll she can stay but she has to stay at your table. We have never let her go to other people’s table. NEVER! We understand some people don’t care for animals but we do. With our disability she is our working dog! At the point of her sarcastic attitude, nasty attitude and even after she had her proof she kept running her mouth against my rights. Yes, I tried to be nice but NOBODY I mean NOBODY will treat my husband and I like we are leopards or something because we have a Service Dog. The long blonde haired waitress’ name is Bonnie Smiley. If my husband and I decide to eat there ever again, she will NOT be my waitress. I will walk out first than to have her as my waitress. Oh, my husband and I walked out that day she was rude, nasty and breaking...
Read morethe food was good no complaints about that but there is a server named emily who served me and my family. she is my only complaint. We walked in and yelled at an elderly who said “they’re almost done we see they have a big party” (they were talking about my party) then emily proceeded to yell at them saying i got it at least 5 times with the biggest attitude in her voice, and says she’ll get to them when she gets to them. as someone who’s worked in fast food and restaurants she could’ve nicely said okay thank you i’ll be there in a moment. we get sat down next to a elderly couple with the husband being a veteran. he says very kindly something is wrong and she responds yelling AGAIN with the biggest attitude saying no i’m got it right you’re wrong this is how you ordered it and walks away before the couple gets to say anything else. WHO TALKS TO AN ELDERLY COUPLE LIKE THIS, WHO TALKS TO A VETERAN LIKE THIS? absolutely not, they way she was talking to people was absolutely disgusting and she had no...
