McDonald's — Restaurant in Weatherford

I had mostly quiet going to McDonald's because it had become too expensive and not a good value. I stopped this morning because it was on my way somewhere, and I was reminded why I'd quit going. The food was fair,, and the employees were very friendly. I wasn't familiar with the breakfast menu so I just winged my order, what a mistake. My order consisted of a large Coke $1, 1 biscuits & gravy $2.99, and 2 sausage & egg biscuits $9.18, total $14.42. I called when I got home thinking I was probably overcharged, but no, the total was correct. The person I spoke to was very friendly, I have no complaints about the staff, and it was my fault because I didn't take the time to look for prices on the menu board. My complaint is that the biscuits and gravy at $2.99 is overpriced compared to the other drive thru's, the sausage and egg biscuits were $4.50+ each which seemed very unreasonable. I'd indicated that the food was fair when in actuality the biscuits were really awful. The tasted as if they're made somewhere else and heated locally. If they would have been large and flaky with a good taste I wouldn't have thought too much about the price. Mom said the biscuits & gravy were ok and that the biscuits were tough. I just don't know how McDonald's can justify charging that much for those items. It would be very interesting to know what the total cost of each item is to make those items. Disgusting behavior just now from a red haired older lady working here.. I’m a door dasher, and majority of the time McDonald’s dasher orders aren’t ready by the estimated time it gives me, so therefore I wait 2-5 minutes before going in to get the order. I get to McDonald’s, park, and put that I’ve arrived. I go in to pick up the order a few minutes after estimated time (REMINDER this is bc the dasher orders are NEVER ready at the estimated time given bc McDonald’s it’s usually slow), the lady proceeds to scold me, saying I should’ve came in 10minutes earlier to grab it when it hadn’t even been 10minutes for me accepting the order, and legit walked in 3 minutes after the estimated time…She mentions how me not coming in and not grabbing it in time makes them look bad and lower their rate this, that, blah blah, like lady! You should be worried about ME, a CUSTOMER giving you a bad rating! Her customer service was so hateful for no reason, Not to mention I walk in and the food isn’t even on the pickup counter she was just holding it against her for whatever reason😭 as I left too, she proceeded to keep talking about me to coworkers.. I haven't eaten Mcdonald's in months because it's a very occasional thing for me. However, I went today and I am extremely disappointed. I'm 7 months pregnant and have literally been craving mcdonald's all day. We finally go around 6pm and I ordered a McDouble PLAIN, fries, and a mocha frappe. Mustard, onions, and pickles are a big no-no for me because they make me sick due to the pungency and me being pregnant. When I got my McDouble it had EVERYTHING on it and the sticker on the McDouble said extra salt which was not part of my order either.. Also, my fries were soggy!! I get that you may be short staffed but it literally would have been easier to skip the steps of adding everything on it and just making it plain like I asked for. This was a big let down for me and makes me kind of sad because I was looking forward to McDonald's the whole day. 😖😖 I would scrape everything off but with how much mustard and ketchup they added the bun would still taste like the condiments plus with the extra salt sticker I'm sure it would've been too salty anyways.
