I just went through the drive through at this Wendy's location. My order was taken with courtesy and great detail asking detailed questions that I honestly might have forgotten. Unsweetened iced tea with a slice or lemon. The lemon I would have not thought about but the employee running Coms did and offered. Also the sauce option with my chicken nuggets. It was all going well until I got to the first window to pay for my order. A draked haired young man told me the total and asked if I would like to "round up"? I asked him to what he had just asked. He once again asked me if I would like to "round-up" the total. I was kinda stunned by the question, so I quickly just said no. My response maybe should have been; For what purpose? Now, I am aware that places like Safeway constantly ask if a customer would like to donate to a particular fund raising cause or that maybe a worker is asking for a tip. This man never advised me of a fund raising campaign on behalf of Wendy's and I do not tip a person for taking payment and handing me change. I also don't tip for someone to hand me a bag of food and a drink that is already overpriced. I don't know if this is a one off thing or a new thing but I did not find that to be an endearing thing at my local Wendy's. I don't have fast food often but if this is the new norm I am much more likely to stop altogether. Thank you to the cooks and rest of the staff....
Read moreSo this had to of been the best experiences we had this week for dinner during our trip. And it was the cheapest! Our restaurants aren't open late at night but this was so that was nice. Drive thru was full but dine in was empty. We all just got buggy bags. Honestly we were loud.... twas my hubby... graduate son and me..... and we were just enjoying ourselves. We ended up making a mess which we totally cleaned up after ourselves.... we might have been throwing chicken nuggets at each other.... not actually sure how that started.... but they just let us have fun. We kept ourselves contained to our table.... and one of the waitresses was going around cleaning up everything else. So we just honestly were able to be a bunch of dorks and enjoy ourselves..... and then clean up everything afterwards so it looked like we were never there to begin with.... and we left happier than we had from any of the other restaurants. Not because we threw nuggets at each other...... but because the food was good.... it was cheap but still good.... there were no surprises on the bill..... and since we were actually enjoying the food instead of being upset? We were able to just sit and enjoy each other's company. So Wendy's thank you 😊 please come back to walla!!!! You are definitely...
Read moreI can't believe after being customers earlier tonight, at about 8pm 10/06/24 what happened. We had a long ride home (2 hrs) so my brother went inside to use the restroom, he needed someone open the door because it wasn't opening and when he came out of the restroom, a heavy-set, tall man was waiting for him outside the door and told him that he couldn't come back ever again. WHY!? He did nothing wrong! He just asked if someone could open the door because he wasn't sure how to open it and didn't want to accidentally open the door on someone. Keep in mind it is literally our first time here. You know, it sucks being a public worker (He and I) and getting kicked out when he did nothing wrong and was a paying customer. The huge man was walking behind him literally breathing behind his neck and forcing him out of the back door. Very childish behavior of these people. I was going to ask to speak to someone but did not want to make a big deal and we had a long drive back home. So Wendy Employee's, next time you kick someone out, at least give them a reason. Because you didn't and that just showed how much in the...
