Found this spot about 6 months ago and really enjoyed their pizza... Until today. Perhaps the rising cost of ingredients is to blame for what happened today, but the prices to customers also went up so asking me to pay $16.50 for an 18 inch pizza with cheese and then handing me a pizza with some cheese, and almost no sauce on a clearly overworked dough is disrespectful. My posts are facts so here is the science. An over worked pizza dough is noticeable because it is chewy and not crunchy, but also not undercooked. The difference is chewy toughness and it can also happen if dough is old but used anyways, which causes an additional problem of dry spots that do not cook in the dough. So today the person who made my pizza cut corners and tried to save on sauce volume and proper dough for crust. This resulted in a dry bit even at the center cut point, where the sauce and cheese at first bite should set the tone for the pizza. For those of you that start crust first, you would have been biting into chewy tough crust that should be light and crunchy. Make a better product, get a...
Read morePizza is fine. I entered the establishment and said hello. Cashier did not answer. When I repeated my greeting the young man looks down and says hello. Based on his interaction with others in the store I do not believe he is on the spectrum. I'm not sure why he was so angry. I sit down to wait for my order and when my meal was ready, the young man drops my pizza in a to go box, leaves it open, and instructs a young lady to "take that to her". The young lady had an expression on her face indicating that his behavior was unacceptable. Customer service skills go a long way. Don't think I will be returning as there are numerous other pizza shops I can patron. I enjoy supporting family owned business but will not support any location with ill-mannered people on the front line. BTW, the young lady he ordered to provide me with my meal...
Read moreQuick story--We just pulled up to the curbside parking and saw a couple walking with their Bravo pizza box. The man had the box open and pulled out a slice-which he folded in half and chomped on WHILE he was walking with the box...I laughed that the guy couldn't even wait to sit down at one of the outdoor tables...he was seriously chowing down! A few hours later MY party bought a Bravo meat lover's pizza. We sat outside on a bench to eat it. Let's just say I copied the folded slice technique. It was a heckuva good tasting pizza from the crust to the toppings. 10/10. Not greasy or heavy. Delicious and plenty of cheese and toppings......
