Food was ok. Could barely eat the burgers because buns were soggy and so they were falling apart but good flavor. But the most aggravating thing was when we ordered a root beer float and i asked if they had sprite and she said yes. The kid brought out the drinks and the root beer float was over flowing everywhere. Got all down the outside and inside of our vehicle. Then as i took a drink out of the sprite i realized something was wrong. I got out of our vehicle and had to step in root beer float that was all over parking lot by our vehicle from her bringing out the drink like that. I went inside to let them know something was wrong with the sprite. The kid that was at the counter asked me what the issue was and i said something was wrong with my soda. She said well it’s sprite zero not sprite. I told her i didn’t order that i don’t like diet soda. She then tells me soda machine is down (which happens i understand) but says well you’re the only customer that has noticed it’s not normal sprite with a complete attitude! Then when they finally brought out or food i guess i didn’t tip enough because she was very unappreciative and rude! I mean i had to clean up root beer float inside and outside our vehicle plus my shoes and then had to go inside to get a different soda because they took it upon themselves to serve me a sprite zero instead of a regular sprite when i specifically asked if they had sprite and she said yes. Very disappointed in the teenagers attitudes that were...

My friend raved about this place. I was severely unimpressed. There were 3 of us. We ordered 3 grilled chicken sandwiches and 1 burger. It took about 25 minutes for 3 of the sandwiches to come out and there were only 2 other groups with their food already in the restaurant. My burger's bottom bun was so soggy I couldn't eat it. I took it off and folded it. The burger patty was very overcooked and super thin. My tomato slice was bigger than the patty. We thought they forgot about the 3rd chicken sandwich and my friend is too nice to say anything but as we were walking out they brought out the last sandwich. They said the cook dropped it and had to make another. Would have been nice to have been told that when we got the other food. How on earth does this place stay...

Stopped in quickly for a quick bite to eat, as I was doing laundry. “Gladys” we will call her, took my order, and was rather surly while doing so. Like I inconvenienced her in the slightest bit. Ordered a burger and fries, it got to me pretty fast. I asked Gladys if I could have a fork for my fries, she said ITS IN THE BOX, unless you want another one, real smug. I said no thank you, I already have one. I opened the box, everything was cold as ice. Burger was mangled like a crime scene. And tasted from the box. You know, the boxed meat that’s real cheap?! GROSS! It was my first, and definitely my last time there. Don’t waste your time, and go to Wentzville Family Diner. They’ll take care of you there. So shameful! It’s amazing they’ve stayed in...

This was my second choice, the other local breakfast place was very busy and had a wait. Being the organic, vegan eater that I am, this is not a place I could eat at very often at all But my husband, who is a farmer had a great appreciation for this place. He had the ham, hash browns and eggs. Standard and he enjoyed every bite. My cinnamon roll wasn't vegan at all or organic for that matter but it tasted good. I don't even know if it was homemade and possibly microwaved. But, the atmosphere, owners & local patrons are what makes this place 5stars. We appreciate small, local business and we left full and happy. It's a go here, it's the nostalgia, they've been in business 51 yrs. ❤

I went for breakfast one morning and was immediately charmed by the atmosphere inside. The woman at the counter was fast to greet us. A simple menu with classic breakfast items and another menu for lunch. We ordered at the counter and took our coffees to a booth. The woman serving us was fast, polite, and spoke very clearly so there was no confusion about anything. If you like retro digs and simple but filling meals, this is a great place to enjoy an easy morning. As we were leaving, there were a few older gentlemen checking out a vintage car, which just really sold the whole vibe and atmosphere. I'll definitely be returning for one of their burgers soon.
