Fiesta Tex Mex — Restaurant in Weslaco

We came here because we wanted to try the soups. We were the first to sit in the section by buffet and we're told the bucfeb was no longer open. So we ordered our food. People started sitting all around us. We noticed that time was passing by and everyone else had their food. We did not. Our waitress disappeared and nobody had checked on us in over 20minutes. About 10 minutes later, finally saw the waitress go to the tortilla booth and overhead her hand our order to the manager. He gave it to the kitchen. She Forgot to put our order in, nobody came to check on us or tell us there was a delay. Then when they brought our food, nobody apologized for the wait and acted like nothing happened. So we asked why we were served last and she said, oh there was a mixup in the kitchen. NO.. we saw and heard the forgetful waitress. Then our souls came out cold and had to be reheated 2 times before one was hot enough to eat. Our waitress still never came back to our table. Nobody apologized either. We went to check out and they still charged us full ticket after waiting an our for food 😡 and the manager just goes, yeah sorry about that, there was a mixup. We won't go back...

Been coming here for awhile and we usually come to eat the breakfast. The breakfast has always been on point but today we got a bit of attitude from one of the waitress because my mom didn't like the coffee because it was a bit watery. We told her if she could please bring her another cup of coffee usually my mom drinks decaf that's when the waitress said in a rude way that's watery too. I felt that all she had to say is yes I will bring you another cup of coffee not stand there and try to make her point. The way I see it Are you paying for it? She brought back the cup of coffee with attitude not even an apology. I think you could have gotten a better review if it wasn't for that one person. Everyone else did great. Customer service is a must...

Food was excellent. The guy seating us was also most excellent. But that is where the greatness ended. We got our drinks pretty quick, then waited over 15 minutes to get our order taken. It was quite crowded, as it was closer to the end of the lunch rush. We got the guy that seated us attention and he noticed we still had menus and got a waitress to finally take our order. 20 minutes later... food arrived.. grrr... but it was excellent. By this time the lunch crowd was almost all gone. I will give this place a 2nd chance, as the food was great. Hopefully just a bad day for waitresses. They wouldn't even bring us our check, they just dropped it off at the cash register. Not sure what...
