Long John Silver's Temp — Restaurant in Weslaco

Ok so not being a Karen but, I get to the intercom and someone takes my order. I get to the window and someone else asks me what I would like to order. I reorder and she doesnt give me my drink. I ask about my drink and she said I didnt order one. I tell her that I ordered at the intercom and was specific about what I ordered. She excuses herself as not the one who took my order bit rather her manager who is cooking and shes running the counter and cleanup and they dont have other personnel working this shift. I ask if they are hiring and she says they are not currently hiring. So what is going on here? The manager wont bring anyone else in to work on a Saturday and shes stuck running the kitchen and the second person chasing her tail running the rest of the restaurant. This is reflected in the food they are serving at that moment. Hence the picture provided. Who overcooks corn in a chain restaurant ? Bad management or understaffed location? I...

I usually only go to Long John Silvers during Lenten season and the food is usually good. Yesterday I went and ordered a fish and shrimp platter through the drice thru. Not Good. When I got home my bag, box and napkins were soaking in grease to the point that they were soggy. I was so hungry so started eating it anyway. The rice had a horrible taste. Both the rice and corn tasted old and as though they had been reheated. The corn container was proof that they had reheated old and cold food because it being styrofoam was melted on one side. I managed to eat some of the shrimp, one fillet and the corn because I had already gotten home and was so hungry, but I had to stop as I suddenly developed the worst stomach ache I have ever felt in my life. Can't say because I never get to eat there. Drive thru always has cars pulled to side, as they are asked to move up and pull over so their food can be brought out. Sit at board waiting and nobody ever answers, not even to say wait please. This is one of the worst drive thru's in Weslaco. It has been like this for years. I get a hankering for their breading (tu sabes) and that itch cannot be scratched because guess what, this isn't fast food. I always feel like I'm playing a scratch off ticket every time I try and go...yep, still haven't won! No, I don't want to get off and eat in, that's what the drive thru is for, before anyone comes for me. Anyways I'm really surprised they haven't shut down. If they are struggling this bad for what seems like 98% of the time, just wait until Friday's in...
