I normally don't give one-star reviews, even if the place deserves it. However, today, I will make an exception. El Patio used to be an awesome place for me to visit. Today, when I got my patos bacon and egg, they were cold. My mom's tortillas for her carne guisada plate were cold. We arrived right as they opened. I went to the counter to let the employees now, I waited my turn as an elderly couple were ordering, once they were done the cashier walled away, didn't even bother to say I will be right with you another employee walked around me, a gentleman was waiting for his order, they did ask him if he had been helped, the lady from the drive through looked at me and turned back to the drive through, didn't say anything either, the people in the kitchen kept looking up but didn't say anything. After 5-10 minutes the gentleman waiting for his food got his food and was asked if he needed anything else, he said not but she's been waiting, finally they acknowledge me and I tell them nicely that my food was cold, the employee just said ok, took my food and went to the area, she let them know and that was it. I went to sit down. Not even 3 minutes later, what looked like the manager came and brought my food, hot, but no, I'm sorry about that, nothing. I don't think I'm ever going back to that El Pato. When I was in high school and growing up, El Pato was...
Read moreThis is absolutely the worst place to eat if u want to feel welcomed. The food looked microwaved. I ordered enchiladas and the tortillas were like rubber and my side of avocado had brown in it. The worst part of my experience was the customer service. No welcome when we entered the door. Then I stood there for at least 10 minutes until we were acknowledged by the cashier. Finally put my order in and then the cashier hands me 4 cups when I only asked for 3. So I had to wait for a refund. The cashier kept calling the manager who was in the kitchen and she would not come to the front to do my refund until about 5 more minutes of standing there waiting. I didn't get an apology or a thank you. Then we waited an additional 35 minutes just to get our food. When I went up to the front to ask where my order was the cashier replied with an attitude that there were many orders ahead of ours and we would just have to wait. Finally when we got our food, they didn't bring us our salsa and Pico de Gallo. When I told the employee, she told me I had to go to the front and get it myself. The drink station was dirty and no straws. My family and I will never return to this location ever again. Very horrible experience. Rude staff. Rude unprofessional management. I recommend a different location other...
Read moreCustomer service is dead! This place is NOT the El Pato of the late 90’s or early 2000’s. I would NOT recommend this establishment at all. I arrived at 10 am for breakfast. The dining room had 4 other guests. After placing my order at 10:04 we took our seats & waited……. Waited, waited & waited more. While waiting for our food to arrive I sat there and observed the staff go about their business. Not a single smile. Not a single greeting of guests as they walked in. It looked as though every single employee hated their job. Oh by the way. I am still waiting. It wasn’t until 10:37 that our two breakfast plates arrived to our table. 33 minutes waiting for two breakfast plates. This wasn’t iHop, this is El Pato. Maybe they had to butcher the pig to cook my bacon or pull the potato’s from the ground out back? Never have I had to wait 33 minutes for eggs and bacon while staring at unhappy staff members drag their feet around. As far as the food quality I will give them compliments there. It was delicious, just not...
