Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Weslaco

I visit this store more than four times a week, and I want to start by saying the employees here are incredible. They are kind, professional, and work hard to give customers the best service possible. That is exactly why I am so disappointed in how poorly the company treats them when they’re assigned to work outside.

In the middle of the day, temperatures can reach the high 90s and even over 100 degrees, yet workers are left standing in the sun with no adequate shade. I’ve called corporate multiple times about this, and every time I’m told, “They are only outside for 15-minute rotations during extreme heat.” That is simply not true. Employees have told me directly that they’re often outside for 30 minutes or longer. Just today, I even saw them standing in the rain with no cover at all.

This is unacceptable. These employees are the heart of this store, and they deserve far better working conditions than being forced to endure extreme heat and weather without protection. Until this changes, you will be losing my business. If you truly value your customers, prove it by taking care of the amazing people who make this store...

I don’t usually write reviews, but one of the broristas changed my life… After i ordered through the drive thru and pulled up to the side, my 1997 toyota previa slipped on a banana peel left on the road. My 7 children flew out of the car door because i’m using taped boxes of twisted tea to cover the door. But all of a sudden… i see a figure in the sky zip lining toward me. I see jackie on a zip line (attached from the top of the dutch bros) and in slow motion… like magic… jackie catches all of my kids and grabs my car to stop it from fully flipping. My 67 year old baby Fester also bit jackie (he has rabies 🥺) but jackie took it like a champ and gave him rabies shots and jackie was instantly cured. I’ve been to other Dutch Bro locations and had never had an issue up until today. I had been in line for about 4 minutes when a truck comes up next to me and right off the back starts wanting to cut in line. I figured they were going to wait. One of the attendants comes out and starts taking orders, needless to say it’s my turn but she decides she’s going to take the order from the truck that pulled up minutes after me. I roll down my window as she keeps pointing at the truck and I tell her I was there before him and she says “I usually do zig zag” well my bad every other Dutch bros takes the order of the vehicle that is next in line and I have never had any issue up until today.
