I finally got the chance to try this comfy & chill coffee shop that I've been hearing and reading about. I'm already hooked after the first visit. I'm trying to squeeze in another visit before the end of the year. It's totally worthy of the praise it has been receiving.
First of all, it's such a warm and inviting atmosphere. I honestly didn't know what to expect when I walked in. The pictures online don't really do it justice. You just have to walk in and see it for yourself. It's a really nice seating and lounging arrangement. It's just a more modern coffee shop vibe with specialty drinks that are so unique. There's also more on the menu than what you see. Just be sure to look at the small chalk board sign to the left of where you place the order. It lists all the fresh bakery items offered that day. I couldn't pass up the coconut cake as well as their signature Coconut Matcha iced tea. There appears to be a rewards program when you sign up during the check out process. That will be so useful for future purchases.
They bring everything to your table when it's ready. The service here is phenomenal. Their finished products are just as amazing. The Coconut Matcha was very well crafted. The milk in the matcha drink actually tasted like it was straight from the coconut. It was such a natural and clean taste. It was so refreshing! I could just feel all of those good antioxidants with each and every sip. The Coconut Cake was a large portion, but it's actually quite light and airy. Don't you just love Asian desserts? I so love that they are not overly sweet, but oh so delicate. I'd much rather have one of these cakes versus a butter cream cupcake any day. It was heavenly. My friend shared it with me, and she loved it too.
I don't think I'll ever be able to shop in Wesley Chapel without stopping at Sorbo. I have to go back and try the coffee very soon. I'd be there all the time if I lived in the area. Don't sleep...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDo not take this lightly, Sorbo is one of the best coffee and matcha cafes in Tampa Bay. This is in the upper tier of cafes along with the likes of Kalesia tea (though Kalesia doesnt do coffee like them and Sorbo does not have as much of a grip on black teas like Kalesia). If you visit both places, there is ample seating and a ton of people either studying or having a conversation over a cup.
Sorboās espresso drinks are velvety and creamy and almost no other viet espresso/asian-based cafe imitates this. The coffee reminds of places like Da Vien in Little Saigon in Southern California (where the Fast and the Furious was filmed). Their matcha is top tier, they will not serve you older, irony-tasting matcha. Their pastries are also no slouch - I do not know if Sorbo bakes this or sources it but the baked goods go beyond standard fare and start diving into things like basque cheesecakes and youll see it paired with flavors like Ube!
The vibes are also great. Many cafes try to throw up a grass wall, some ikea steel chairs, and call it a day. With Sorbo, the atmosphere creates a uniform chill vibe. The floor to walls are darkened. Theres a mix of tables, padded couches and chairs, and a communal table in the center that does not feel out of place or awkward to sit at. Many people stay for an hour+.
I live over in the Westchase/Oldsmar area and I gladly make the 40 minute drive to Sorbo. I plan it around a day to visit the Outlet mall, the all abilities playground with my kid,...

Sorbo Coffee opened up three weeks ago here in the Wesley Chapel area. What a damn blessing to have such a wonderful cafe that provides so many boba/teas/ coffee options.
When you first walk in, you'll love the aesthetics of this location. easy on the eyes and I wish my decor at home looked like this.
The service is phenomenal and if it's your first time here, do not worry. They'll hold your hand and guide you through the menu.
So far I've tried the strawberry matcha latte, coffee latte, and traditional thai tea. I'm in love with all three hence why you don't see me posting pictures because I consumed them all right from the start.
Sorbo Coffee is here to stay, a treasure to be discovered here in Wesley Chapel and the flavors of the drinks are wonderful.
It's a great place to study, and meet up with your friends to catch up. Currently there are no outlets to charge your electronics. I'm hoping they add some outlets near the tables in the future.
Thank you Sorbo Coffee, for blessing Wesley Chapel! That's on God.
P.S. Yes you can sub...
