Nachos Supreme. This plate consisted of Tortilla chips, refried pinto beans, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled jalapeños, sour cream, cheese sauce, and avocado. Protein options were steak, pork, tongue, head, barbacoa, chitlins, chorizo, and chicken. I ordered steak. The chips to topping ratio was balanced. The portion size was enough for one adult. The dish pricing was reasonable for the portion size. Overall, this plate was ok. Typical concession style nachos but with more toppings. I wouldn't order it again.

Kept passing this place on the way to work, and finally tried it today - Taqueria El Toro in West Allis! We each grabbed a taco dinner: Carne Asada Mexican style, and Al Pastor American style without tomatoes. They each came with rice, beans, jalapeño, and potato (?) 😂. That was a weird surprise, but everything was soo good and it was filling. A large horchata on the side. 😋

If you want to try this place out, TRY IT!! I absolutely LOVE it here! Everytime I order my food It’s always so fresh & good! I get the Taco dinner. They include the tacos, rice, beans, baked potato, jalapeño & cucumbers. Steak is cooked very well, rice & beans are so good. Their sauces are AMAZING! Overall the food is 10/10!! One of my favorite Mexican spots.

I did not have a good experience at all last night. I ordered 7 Mexican style tacos. 2 chorizo, 3 chicken and two steak on corn tortillas. I also ordered Guacamole and chips. I regret not taking a photo of this imposter gauc. Whatever it was as that they gave me with the chips was unlike any guacamole I have ever had. It had the consistency of tomato soup only it was green of course. I dipped my finger in it wondering if somehow the heat from the other food maybe had caused it to "melt??" The temperature was a little cooler than the air. It looked really gross and I didn't have the guts to try any. I did put some in a small bowl and served it with some chips to my friends mom who did not like it and I immediately got it out of her face. What's worse and really unbelievable and unacceptable given this is a restaurant was the chips were stale and tasted terrible. My friend and her mom said they enjoyed their tacos. I ate one and a half of the three I had and threw the rest away. They did not taste anything close to good. My stomach hurts and was uneasy all night long and I was searching for tums and Pepto. I kept burping up a nasty aftertaste. I completely regret wasting my time and money here. If it was just one maybe two things wrong I might give them a second chance. They don't deserve one in my opinion. I won't be back and I really wish I had my money back so I could go to any other of the dozens of trucks and restaurants on the Southside that crush it every time. Stay away from the Guacamole if you...

I initially just wanted a quesadilla but I'm vegetarian, so instead of meat, I wanted jalapeno, peppers, a few veggies. The guy taking my order kinda had an attitude about it and made it seem like I was asking for too much. So for the same price as a quesadilla with meat I got a quesadilla with just cheese, onion and cilantro. I wanted to support a local business so I had him add on an order of fries. One quesadilla and an order of fries- $15 from a place that is just a take-out window. Really mediocre, bland soggy fries and an under-performing quesadilla. Not sure what the hype is about, but given the 'tude and the inability to substitute a few cheap ingredients to what is essentially just tortilla and cheese, for the price I won't...

charged us $16 for a kids meal, and would not give an itemized receipt. Also asked for a kids hamburger plain and they gave us a burger with all toppings on it ketchup, mayo, lettuce, mustard etc. Said they do not do refunds. Do not recommend this place. You can find much better taco trucks and customer service else where.

UPDATE: Said they don't have a kids meal but when i asked over the phone he took the order and did not correct it, charged it as all separate items. Also when called to complain the second time they hung up and then called back with someone who only spoke Spanish after I was just speaking...
