I made my order online. I called when I arrived and the female employee asked for my name and said it would be right out. 10 minutes later, an employee named Chris came out and showed me my receipt and said they didn’t know where I was because evidently, I accidentally chose pick up inside. I said I didn’t realize that, and no one said anything when I called to tell them I was waiting outside. They just said it would be right out. Chris again showed me my receipt and said I didn’t order it right in a very rude and condescending tone. Continuing in the rude tone he said, “I’ll be right back with your food, but next time make sure you order it right.” Several minutes later Chris came out with my food and yet again rudely said, “ Here. Make sure you order it right next time.” It was an honest mistake and Chris just wouldn’t drop it. If it was too much effort to bring my order outside, the employee on the phone could have politely told me that I actually ordered it for pick up inside and asked me to come in to get my food. Chris was rude and I don’t understand why they “couldn’t find” me when I told them I was outside. When I placed my order, I left a tip on it. I can’t believe I tipped someone to treat me that way. I spent many years in restaurant management and I would NEVER let an employee treat a customer the way Chris treated me over a small mistake like that.There won’t be a next time, because I will never go to this...
Read moreI love the new Renovations in this Cousins Subs restaurant. It is a lot more modern and up to par with a clean look. I like the fact that you can watch the sub makers make your sub in front of you. It's a good way to make sure that everything's going on yourself that you wanted, if you customize your subs like I do. LOL. The only downside that I didn't like when I went in there last time as one girl was doing the work of three people while her manager was walking back and forth just watching her and telling her what to do. She was taking orders, making the cold subs, and working the grill. All while there was another gal separately on the register. I'm not sure what the manager's name was, but it was a little Discerning to see that kind of work ethic from the management at that time. I have never received anything wrong when I order Subs here. And keep in mind I customize every single sub that I get. Yes, I may be one of those customers. LOL. Their hot food is always made fresh for you. The environment is welcoming and the staff is always polite and courteous. I would say I do recommend this Cousins Sub restaurant to anyone looking for a fresh made sub. My favorites are the tuna sub, ham and cheese sub, and the Philly cheese steak...
Read moreI've come to appreciate sub shops like Cousins, and Jimmy Johns, over places like Subway. Because of quality of ingredients. I've been to some Subways where it looks like the veggies were sitting out for days. That's just disgusting...
That said, though, Cousins used to do what Jimmy Johns does, at one point, and took some bread out of the sub to accommodate ingredients. In my last few visits, including today, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore...
I ordered a sub off the app. Got there about 20 minutes later and it wasn't ready... lady said they just had a huge rush so I can understand. She made my sub with a good amount of ingredients(I like my veggies). When I started eating it it's good I had the wrapper because half the damn sun fell out as I was eating it!
They really need to go back to removing some bread from the subs if there's a lot of ingredients on the order. Other than...
