Jumbo's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in West Bend

Before i give my review of the food and everything else i want to make one thing clear the OWNERS do not treat their employees well what so ever... i have had multiple friends and family members work there over the years and every single one of them will tell you that the owner will treat you horribly there is no training for new staff and because of that if they mess up they are ridiculed and treated as if its their fault..... if you are a parent who has a kid looking for their first job DO NOT LET THEM WORK HERE

That being said in terms of the food its good at times and can be bad at times as well. the burgers are good and honestly better then any other fasterish burger place in town outside of maybe Culver's but the fries are not great onion rings are not great and ultimately the food is very hit or miss as for the custard its great when its eaten right away but if you order a pint to take home and you don't eat it within a couple of days it honestly becomes very gross it has happened to me multiple times and at first i thought it was just my freezer so i put it in my other freezer and there was still an issue after about a week

ultimately if you are hungry and thinking of jumbos just get culvers more consistent and they don't treat their employees horrible either ...

I first want to start off by saying I usually love going to Jumbo's for dinner every now and then. However the last 2 times I have bought sandwiches they have been soaked in butter "Literally Soaked". I wish I could have posted a picture, So you could see what I was talking about. I'm all for a good butter burger but this was beyond that. My husband and I couldn't even eat a quarter of our sandwiches because there was so much butter on the buns (This happend twice in one week) and they basically just fell apart in our hands. I'm honestly nervous to come back for the simple fact when I'm paying $30 for a couple sandwiches, sides and a drink and we can't even eat the main portion of our meal. I went to Jumbos in West Bend to get a irthday Ice Cream Cone. I ordered the special of the day. Baileys Irish Cream. I received my cone and it was chocolate ice cream with a hint of Baileys and brownie pieces that were not mentioned in the description. I did not like it, so I took it up to the counter and spoke to the male manager who was on 4-26-22 and explained that I didn't like the ice cream and I didn't know about the brownie pieces. He said so what do you want me to do about it, I said I don't know but I can't eat this . He then picked up a garbage can and told me to throw the cone in it. After I did he asked me again what was he supposed to do, I said I wanted an ice cream, I told him vanilla. I also said sorry, he looked at me and told me I was wasting his product.
