This was the worst fast food customer service experience I have ever had in my almost 42 years of life. Wasted over an hour and a half of my time and wound up just not eating. I came thru drive thru for dinner and ordered over $27 of food for my family. When I got home I discovered the one item my wife wanted was not in the bag. I immediately called and talked to Shelby who said I could come back and pick up the item and get some free dessert which I had ordered and already paid for. I told her that and she said that would be all she could do. So while her resolution was terrible, my wife wanted a tostada so I went to go get it for her. I brought with 3 items that were for me to be remade so my wife and I could eat together. I guess that's asking too much. The shift manager Jen has no business in customer service. NONE! She was slovenly and sloppily dressed and extremely rude. The looking sloppy part I can understand since it was in the middle of dinner. The zero understanding of how to turn a reasonably upset customer into at least a satisfied one is INEXCUSABLE. I had already been inconvenienced enough due to a missing item that was for my wife. Since I live on the opposite side of town coming back to get the item is about a 20 min round trip plus the time it takes them to get my replacement food. I waited patiently in line for some time with the bag of food I wanted replaced. The cashier took my replacement order. Then Jen started to question why the food besides the tostada was on the screen. I saw this happening and told Jen I would like the other food remade. She then proceeded to tell me " you should've told the manager that on the phone!". Unreal. I then said I didn't like her attitude and would now like a full refund and no longer wanted any food. I stood there another 20 min. I finally yelled back to get a manager up there to give me a refund. We then had a somewhat loud and heated exchange where I was told "well you came in the middle of dinner" and "now you will have to wait until I clear my screen since you are yelling at me". Really?!! Wow! And she meant it. I waited at least another ten minutes to be refunded only for the items I brought back and the afore mentioned tostada. No apology was given. No offer to try and make things right. I will be telling as many people as I can about this incident as nobody deserves to be treated this way, especially after working from 730am to 622pm. And from what the cashier said as I was waiting,"this happens way more than you...
Read moreI used to love this Taco Bell and go all the time. Now, after management changed, not so much. I'll explain....
These days when you enter said Taco Bell you'll be lucky to get service in under two minutes. Not due to a line or a mad rush or anything, no. More because they don't seem to want to help you. Once you're lucky enough to finally place your order it's pretty hard to get what you want, made correctly, and without losing too many brain cells
I came in once on a Friday night around 9 and pleasantly surprised to find almost no one there. With quite literally three people in lobby and no line at all, it took me ten minutes to get service (dead serious) and 15 more to get my order of just two Quesaritoes, double grilled. Once he got the order, the morbidly obese chef nearly messed it up before a fellow employee corrected him, "it's double grilled". After this he somehow managed to force the air out of his cellulite-filled lungs to yell " DUBBLE GRYLD". What followed was a seemingly endless chorus of "double grilled!" from his fellow cretins. I got past that, but could not accept my service tonight.
I asked for a Mexican Pizza with parts taken off and two nacho cheese tacos with no lettuce. When the master cuisine specialist heard "no lettuce" she took it to mean "scatter nearly undetectable amounts of lettuce throughout the taco as well as the odd tomato chunk!" Then again, what more can I expect from a restaurant operated by high school dropouts and dope fiends? The worst part though, was how the complicated Mexican Pizza was done perfectly. EVEN THEIR INCONSISTENCY IS INCONSISTENT.
Long story short: was great, management changed, is now awful
UPDATE FOR AUGUST 2018:
I honestly didn't think it could but somehow they've gotten even worse. Stupid drug addicts and high-school dropouts can't possibly get your order right the first time. Or they give it to you in a bag in such a way that upon opening your food it's completely destroyed due to their negligence
As if all that isn't bad enough they close the lobby anywhere between one and four hours earlier than posted closing times. How can they possibly be allowed to run this store??? Contacting corporate has led to less...
Read moreI've never had a bad experience at a taco bell until today. Maybe there were TOO many workers, because the communication was terrible. I think they had better and more accurate service when they were short staffed. First my bag was given to someone at the counter, and no one knew. It wasn't until the man at the counter came back up to return the incorrect order was it noticed that I had been in the drive thru nearly 8 minutes waiting for that order. So, I wanted a refund, which they gave me, thank you for that, and then gave me the original bag of food that was cold and soggy and had other people's hands in it...it was also missing the one thing I actually wanted out of the entire order. I'm guessing the guy in the dining room are them? Or maybe the nacho fries weren't even put in the bag? I don't know. They then remade my original order, which consisted of 2 chicken quesadillas, 2 taco supremes, and a nacho belgrande, and the nacho fries that were for me, and said keep both bags. Well, the original order I threw out because like I said, cold and soggy...the new order, they gave me 3 tacos instead of 2, and 2 nachos instead of 1. It's so wasteful, as this stuff doesn't reheat, and I'm one person. I ate what I wanted, and gave away the rest. I'm glad they handled it, but I never once heard an I'M SORRY, which would have made more of a difference than extra food that I'm just going to throw out. I feel bad for the people behind me in line, as their bags were piling up on the drive thru counter, getting cold and soggy too. 🤬 Maybe less employees would have been actually more helpful in this situation, and maybe a few lessons in communication are in order. I'll still eat there, but this experience was a far cry from the fun-loving employees and happy visits I'm used to when I go there. No harmony, everyone running around like chickens tripping on each...
