We were pretty excited to try our purchases given that so much just looked delicious! Granted the name Paris Pastry, along with a Paris affiliation in the theme & decor; Eiffel Tower table pieces & other Paris/French insinuations, we were expecting French pastries and baked goods. Yet it's essentially a basic Arabic pastry shop. The cookies and cream macaroons were good but small & overpriced. The Oreo Cheesecake looked great, but upon the 1st fork full, was very clearly several days past any "best by" date since it was the texture of an actual sponge & smelled similar to blue cheese? Given the Dubai chocolate craze and my own personal love of Dubai chocolate bars, we purchased a small Dubai Choc. personal size cake; it was unremarkableat best. 6 small macaroons, 1 slice of Oreo cheesecake and 1 small personal cake cost $25, which definitely...
Read moreI would give them zero stars if i could!!...I ordered my son's birthday cake there!..when I saw it i cried! It looked terribble!...instead of putting happy birthday on the top it was written on the side...it looked totally weird, and the butter cream tasted like they actually forgot to put the butter in it!! I was so upset!! What upset me the most was that they were so unsincere they did not even want to give me my money back after i told them that not only did the cake look terrible it tasted bad as well!..I had to sit there and argue with them for atleast 45 mins and tell them if they did not return my money i would get my bank to stop the transaction did they finally give me my money back! (not to mention i had my son's birthday party waiting)..I ended up not having a cake for my son's party!...I would not reccomend them nor...
Read moreTheir cakes are delicious and amazing, Just not their Chaldean people who work there. I give it a two star rating because the cakes are amazing but their attitude towards customers is gross.
One day there was a long line and one person was helping/ringing people out. There were perhaps a good set of orders/customers that day. We were in line and about to be next yet the lady who were supposed to help us, skipped us and started talking Arabic to the next customer that was also Chaldean and somehow serve them. So we looked stupid waiting even longer. I knew there was only one person helping out but as a golden rule of courtesy and etiquette, ask who was next.
Perhaps they might see this or not but, I was, still am disgusted at the disrespect they gave us that day.
To review this review: Keep the cakes, change the attitude....
