Shannon's Pizza — Restaurant in West Boylston

Ordered from here about three months ago without problems, and decided to again for lunch today. 45 minutes after I'd ordered I had to call to see why my pizza hadn't arrived yet (they said it'd be 15 minutes on the phone). About 20 minutes later (a little over an hour after originally ordering the delivery guy showed up. He did not have our drink but did have a credit card receipt for a few dollars more than our order that was already signed, and tried to explain that there was some kind of a mixup. I called to complain to the owner and straighten out the amount, and he ended up giving us the pizza for free. Pizza was quite good, but I am not in a rush to order...

I like Shannon's overall. I've been an "intermittent regular" since well before if was sold to the current owners. The staff is always friendly and pleasant. The pizza is usually quite good and generous as is the steak & cheese. My only real complaint would be the lack of meat on the turkey sub. It is often minimal at best. Hands down the best pizza in town. Fresh ingredients and the man knows his craft. Excellent Italian and well balanced. Not like the other shops that don't use all the meats and just stuff it with lettuce. The steak and cheese is very soft and not stringy.
