Ordered take-out and was rather disappointed. Appetizer sampler was very dried out, didn't seem freshly prepared. Orange chicken tasted like it was fried in very old oil - I didn't even finish the meal. I was burping oil fumes all night - not pleasant. I hadn't stopped by here since a few years ago, but I remember this being much better before. Not sure what happened, but this was definitely an off night, I hope. As it is, I'm not likely to return.

We tried shrimp fried rice and seafood soup. They can easily target halal seeker Muslim foods. Be careful Muslims, they use wines in their foods. You may request them not to use wines. They kept our request. Hope they did not do any trick with me. Burlington should have a halal restaurant.

I cannot eat broccoli. I ordered a dish with no broccoli as seen on the slip, and what I received is 75% broccoli. Maybe not the place to go if you have dietary restrictions. What I was able to eat was very tasty. And the staff is very nice.

I really wanted to write a glowing review. Usually, small, family-owned restaurants have heart, will and creativity. None of these were presented. I feel like this establishment has given up. I came during lunch. I ordered Mongolian beef and a small bowl (side) of fried rice with some beef. Remember: this is lunch. My receipt says $23.53. The price is NOT the factor for the low marks. The food was sad. Fried rice was burnt. The taste of the rice was obvious and it was served anyway. The entree was bland and lifeless. Usually a Mongolian Beef dish is served with fresh crunchy vegetables like green peppers and crisp onions. These vegetables were left over from other dishes because the onions were too gummy. They were no longer a vegetable but a filler. I’m sending this out with sadness in my heart because the young lady that served me was the nicest, most humble person I’ve had the pleasure to meet. But, her family restaurant is in trouble. Good luck. I will return in six months...

WOW! WOW! WOW! This place is awesome! I have Chinese food once a week from somewhere around the Midwest area. This time I was in West Burlington and decided to try China One. I ordered the triple delight with house special fried rice, 2 egg rolls, and a pint of egg drop soup. The triple delight was perfect! Lots of meat, good veggies and just the right amount of non greasy sauce. The rice was fantastic! And I was shocked to actually see a lot of egg in the egg drop soup for once, not just broth. My egg rolls were a little too greasy, and honestly looked like 2 spring rolls, but everything else was fabulous! I will ABSOLUTELY be ordering from here next time I'm in town! BTW, it was very easy to place my order on their website in just a couple of...

Food was okay, preparation was FAST out the door in just a few minutes. Maybe it's too authentic for me or maybe they were having a bad day. Happy family was good portion, in fact larger than expected. Vegetable Lo-mien tasted off, kinda like the pan had some burnt leftovers from some previously cooked Lo-mien, it infused my portion with a smoky burnt food flavor.

Bottom line, staff was friendly, not to difficult to understand. Meal cost a little more than I expected ($14 for family buffet and lo mien to go) but was a larger portion than I expected. Lo mien tasted off. I probably won't go back.

**Update 4-6-17 went back, food was much better! Will be...
