nobody even understands how much this place has changed my life, lmao. ever since way before i was born and as a toddler and still now (im kinda young and the youngest of 6) my family has been going to this place down the shore in mantoloking and sometimes lavallette on the way to our beach house and when i found out there was one 9 minutes away from me i almost cried. these are the best sandwiches you will ever get in your entire life promising that, and if you ever tell me you found sandwiches better than jersey mikes sandwiches you're either lying or the people that made those sandwiches are the creators of jersey mikes with different materials. OMG and especially their cookies and brownies, they're bomb and they replace them every single day so if you get them they may not still be warm but they are very carefully wrapped to stay fresh so you will never leave that place with a stale brownie or cookie, especially considering the fact they make new ones every day. i also love getting lays sour cream and onion chips there, but that's kinda a different story, lmao. i actually have jersey mikes right next to me right now, i went after school and im finishing the brownie rn. i remember when basically like nobody knew jersey mikes and everyone went to subway, but now i rarely ever see people or my friends with subway. they all get jersey mikes now. even though it highers the chances of long lines and thats annoying, im still sososo freaking happy bc jersey mikes was way too damn underrated before and now they're getting the credit they deserve. this review is so long lmao but i cant help myself from trying to explain how much i love jersey mikes. i swear to god please go here because jersey mikes is SOO AMAZING OH MY GOD SOMEONE HELP IM LEGIT OBSESSED LMFAO GO TO JERSEY MIKES RIGHT NOW, IDC IF IT'S 3AM FOR YOU OR SOMETHING GO THERE AS SOON AS YOU READ THIS LOL I LOVE JERSEY MIKES SM...

The staff here is horrible they have no food handlers training. I as the employee there Mike was fixing my food he kept wiping his hands in his clothes and when i bought it to his attention he became dismissive, rude and disrespectful. The young lady I think her name is Angel told him not to do that and he kept on wiping his hands in his clothes and saying im not going to make your food over and started making others people food with the same gloves on that he kept wiping in his clothes purposely. Then the assiatant manger tried to defe d what the young man did as they stood there while i called the health department on the establishment. The young man Mike literally asked would i much rather have bread crumbs on my food or for him to wip his hand off in his clothes..this was his logic..I said the bread crumbs..i dont know what on your clothes and you can make me sick...I asked for a mini but because he was being lazy he decided to give me a regular size and was gonna charge for a mini using bread that had just been sitting out on the counter...smh..these establishment stay hiring people with no morals and or integrity and wonder why their businesses go belly up. It because these people dont care about your business. They use to have such a great staff of people now they have the sticky stuff at the bottom of the barrel..the young lady though has excellent problem solving and leadership skills she kept apologizing for something she did not do and i said well we are a team..I told her it looks like she is the only one on the team..because the rest of them only cared...

I don't typically write reviews, specially right now that I find myself extremely busy with putting together a very small intimate wedding. I felt that I should take some time and give appreciation to the manager Tom at Jersey Mikes in West Caldwell. I have eaten at this location before and have always found it to be super clean and super friendly and the food has always been fantastic. This time I have to say it was my first interaction with the manager Tom who is nothing more than professional kind and extremely knowledgeable about the catering menu. He made me feel at ease as he explained every detail and reassured me that I would have no issues. In today's world I feel that we do not give enough thanks and appreciation to those that go above and beyond. So I would like to thank Tom and his staff for their knowledge of their menu and for the kindness they showed me.
