Lifelong customer of Rowena/Valencia over here. I've been getting my hair done by her for almost 20 years now which means she's my most important relationship! I'm very fickle and terrible at explaining what I want my hair to do with my hair (whether it's a specific cut or color) and somehow Rowena manages to get inside my head and bring the vision (or something even better) to life. She has taken the time to get to know me and my style and delivers on what is best for my hair type/texture--that's true artistry! The color most especially is perfection every single time and she uses high quality products. I always leave the salon looking and feeling my best. I even got compliments on my highlights from a coworker the other day, which surprised me since I got my hair colored by Rowena a couple of months ago lol! That's just a testament to how great she is and how the color lasts for so long. I always feel loved, seen and beautiful at Valencia and am so grateful to have found Rowena

Rowena has been my hair stylist for 20 years and I will not trust anyone else with my hair! She is extremely talented and skilled in what she does. I have very long, wavy/curly hair. Rowena is great working with my hair texture and teaches me good ways to care and style my curls. (If you have curly/textured hair, then you understand the struggle and how difficult it can be to find a stylist that understands and can work with your hair type) She is always patient and understanding with my requests and nails it every time! My hair always looks and feels healthier after every haircut. She brings it back to life every time! She is honest and knows exactly what will compliment you well with your hair. She is also fun and easy to talk to while in the chair. :)...

I've been going to Rowena for two years now, and I can't praise her enough! She surely has an incredible talent for truly understanding what I want in a cut and color. She listens carefully to my descriptions and consistently delivers results that exceed my expectations. To add, she educates you with proper hair care, which I appreciate. I look for a low maintenance style but also fun to play with and she always deliver!
