Atexquita Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in West Chester

Pretty mediocre food, if you're lucky enough to get it. Tried to give them a second chance and do the 3 tacos for $5 deal on a Tuesday, but waited 40 minutes and had to get my money back before my lunch break was over. No explanation, let alone an apology. I'm not one to argue, I just won't ever go back, and I recommend anyone else skip these guys (particularly if you're in a rush). There's way too much competition nearby to waste your time. It's a shame, the spot that was in this location before was much better. Edit: if the food came as quick as the owner's response, there wouldn't have been an issue 😂 It wasn't all that busy and other people were getting their food who ordered after me. Also, my order was tacos and a quesadilla, nothing very time consuming...and no indication when I ordered in an empty restaurant before noon that it would be a long wait. I worked in restaurants for years and I know it can be busy even if it doesn't look like it, so any sort of 'hey sorry we lost your order' or 'sorry, just 5 more minutes' would have...

Los Sabores was my favorite restaurant. I used to go there all the time with family and friends, and everyone loved it. No other Mexican restaurant could compete with them, in terms of flavor. I was really disappointed to see that the menu had changed with the new ownership. I went there with my family, and the consensus was that it does not compare to the previous establishment. The fajitas were bland - not anything close to the previous version. We ordered cheese sauce, and it was runny, with a milk-like consistency. As a long-time, frequent customer of Los Sabores, I'm not sure I will be visiting Atexquita again. Of course, if they were to bring back the previous recipes from Los Sabores, then that would change everything! But for now, I will have to grieve the loss of my family's...

Absolutely LOVED Los Sabores and their food for the last year. My favorite spot for Mexican food in West Chester. The last TWO TIMES I have gone here to order food, I've been shorted. I spent $50 on 12 tacos last week, got home and they only gave me 8. That's $2.75 per taco + tax they shorted me, almost $15. Not the first time, either. And before anyone says I should "check before I leave", they tightly pack everything up. I'd have to unravel my entire meal in front of them and inconveniently carry it all home just to make sure I have what I paid for? It's ridiculous. The food quality is still pretty good, even post Los Sabores, but the customer service and the employees here are AWFUL. MASSIVE...
