La Tartine — Restaurant in West Chester

As I’m sure you can see from the other reviews, La Tartine is outstanding. I would honestly give more than 5 stars if I could. We were walking around west Chester and stumbled upon La Tartine for a quick lunch bite. We ordered a smoothie, falafel wrap, and an açaí bowl. All three were incredibly fresh and excellent. The owner was very hospitable and friendly. We enjoyed the meal so much that we went back later that day for dinner. We ordered two Shawarma wraps, a ham and cheese crepe, and gazpacho soup. Once again, all of the food was phenomenal. The owner came out and talked to us a bit more, and you can see how truly passionate he is about his business and his food. He offered us donuts, and several different types of tea, all for free, and all absolutely outstanding. I couldn’t resist but to give him another tip on top of the 25% I already gave him. We cannot wait to go back...

The Ham, Egg & Cheese Crepe is beyond incredible, so filling and flavored beautifully- we added feta and it gave it such a lovely kick. I paired it with the Mediterranean Green Bean Salad and they actually sung a glorious duet. What a perfect meal to share with my mom as the portions are quite ample and filling. My mom used to make Dilly Beans and these reminded me of them. The star though, the Baklava as I know what kind of love that takes... the Soup of the Day with side of zaatar pita chips as well were two more brilliant stars. Filled, brimming with love and care!!! 11/11

We called ahead of a DoorDash order and the gentleman on the phone couldn’t have been more lovely, helped us select our soups and we’re now basking in such amazingly prepared food with such love!!! 💗

10/10 Customer Service! & Great Food! I ordered food from here while waiting to be discharged from the hospital and the experience blew me away. They called to let me know my food was ready, and when I missed the call, they followed up 15 minutes later to inform me my food was ready and they were getting ready to close—super kind and patient. I had no idea they were so close to closing time when I ordered and shared my situation. They were so understanding and had an employee stay behind just to make sure I got my food. I even told them they could leave it outside the door, but they insisted on waiting to ensure I got it. That level of care and thoughtfulness is rare. And to top it off—the food was amazing!...
