I have been there a few times, and the food is good. Sometimes, it takes longer, even if there are two people, food is not served together. I've tried the guatita, first time it was almost perfect, second time the rice was not fresh and peanut sauce was salty. Also the bandera was their special and again my friend was served firts 5 minutes later my dish. Service is very slow, table are NOt properly clean , condiments bottles are kept on the table and most of the time are dirty and sticky. Waitress seems not to have a clue of serving. Nothing comings together, either you order a simple soda or agua fresca. Once food is served, the server don't approach the table. They're NOT busy they instead disappear, or it happened that they're having lunch or changing shifts. When paying with a credit card, they asked if there is going to be a tip, before they run the card. Never had that kind of experience. Based on numerous visits I wouldn't recommend it. There are, fortunately more Ecuadorian restaurants that have employees who treat you better and most importantly, their food taste more traditionally.

Nice and friendly mom and pop place. Prices are a bit pricey for this Ecuadorian place where the menu is all in Spanish. But the waitress came to help me and I couldn’t read it. Not many vegetarian options but the sweet plantains w cheese (maduros con queso) were very tasty for only $5. They play Ecuadorian music and they are easy going. Parking is free on the street. Corner of Pulaski n Division streets. Plus the prettiest bill w a pic that I have ever seen. Look at pic. Cash or credit plus no credit card minimum.

This place opened up during COVID and is amazing for the local area and everyone in the city should go out of their way to support them. There aren't too many restaurants in the area and this guy coming in is a gift. I live within a quick walk and try to support them often as I can but have yet stopped by for karaoke which i believe they have some nights. Parking on the street is cake vs. Logan, West Town, and the like so there's no reason not to stop by if you drive to those areas. The area is up and coming and I hope they stay...
