Doña Torta Chilanga — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

The food here is great, the tortas are 10/10, which is the only reason I’ve continued to come back. Unfortunately, the service is consistently disappointing. I’m never greeted when I walk in, and I’m often met with attitude both in person and over the phone.

As a business owner myself, I know firsthand how important customer service is. I deal with people all day, and I believe customers should ALWAYS be a priority. A warm greeting and a friendly attitude cost nothing, but they go a long way in keeping people coming back. I really hope this improves, because the food deserves better...

The food is great, but the waitresses being racist towards their own kind and talking being our backs is Awful, I can understand if you don't know English well enough not to speak it but to talk trash about me because of your lack of communication skills is horrid. If a client chooses to speak English you shouldn't discriminate, what if a black or white person wants to purchase from here. At least this time went smoother than my other purchases from here. This is my favorite place for tortas. They're huge! And there's so many different versions. It takes me back to Mexico City! You definitely have to come with an appetite and be ready to eat lots of meats! Today, I had the selección mexicana, and it did not disappoint like the other selección. No pun intended, lol.
