La Michoacana Premium — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I need to preface by saying the flavors are really good and the variety is outstanding however, whenever I come in, it's always melting before I even leave the store. Today I got chocolate in a waffle cone. It was completely liquid by the time I walked to the door.

I've tried this particular store three times and every single time, with different items, they've melted before I can get back to my car right outside. Cone ice cream, paletas, and shakes-- doesn't matter, they all melt.

I've tried other michoacanas and this place is the only one where I've had this problem. I thought I could explain it by saying it was hot outside, but today it wasn't so I really don't know. I'm starting to think it's their freezers or something.

If you order through uber eats they will cheat you with the sizes. If you order XL they will give you a small size. I ordered a XL mangoneada the biggest they have and I received the small size. Also they will completely ignore your notes. In my notes I ordered paletas and asked for specific flavors and I was send a bunch of random flavors. Staff are very nice and the place is spacious with alot of chairs and tables. They have alot of items on the menu. They serve different kinds of ice-cream and chocolate covered bananas with your choiceof toppings. They also sell corn in a cup a best seller for sure.
